"You are greeted with happiness and care which is absolutely appreciated. The menu is big which gives a lot of choices, from American to Chinese to Thai. We tried two Asian dishes, one was spicy shrimp (wife loved it) and the other was fried chicken with rice. The chicken was chewy and had an off color so i didn’t enjoy this very much. I was also craving a hot dog so I ordered the Chicago style and the hot dog was VERY wrinkly and a little tough. I’m not sure what caused this. The crab Rangoon was tasty and the drinks were delicious! I would want to go back to try other foods."

I'm only giving it a 1 because I drove to the location looking to get some food and try a new spot. Only to have a handwritten note on the door saying they are closed on Mondays. They will be open tomorrow (Tues).. they need to update their information on Google.

Gyros Solid! And meaty. Even better the next day as a cold meal. Chicken w/ egg noodle Unfortunately bland, maybe bold of me to assume there’d be more going on than chicken and noodles. Egg rolls Exceptional, crispy and greasy just the way I love em. Hong Kong milk tea Perfection. Get one. All in all, hit or miss but mostly hitting. Interesting to see a Chinese place dishing out gyros, but this might be a Chicago thing I’m not aware of. Service: Takeaway

"We drove 30 minutes through sleet to have breakfast at Raspberry's Pancake House & Restaurant, our first dine-out meal in months (since 2020). When we arrived, my son realized he had forgotten his shoes, so we ended up ordering online instead. We waited about 20 minutes to pick up our food, both hungry and a bit impatient. The pickup was quick and easy once our order was ready. We decided to eat in a nearby park, only to find that our five orders of pancakes came without forks or napkins, which was disappointing. However, the food itself did not disappoint. It’s hard to fully judge a restaurant based on takeout, but despite having to eat with our fingers after a short drive, we enjoyed a delicious meal. Luckily, we found a plastic fork in the car, allowing my husband to enjoy his country fried steak, which he said was well-seasoned—high praise for someone picky like him! I ordered the Bacado and loved it; I was concerned the tomatoes might be soggy, but that wasn’t the case. I also had a side of grits, which were simple, cozy, and delicious with just a bit of butter. One of my children had the French toast, which disappeared quickly and looked really tasty. We will definitely be back for more and hope for a more polished experience next time. The restaurant’s menu options are impressive, and we truly appreciate the thoughtful packaging—especially the separately wrapped syrup. While ordering whipped cream meant extra packaging, we understand and respect the effort to maintain quality and safety. Overall, the careful packaging added to our positive experience despite the extra cost and wait time."
