"I was here yesterday with my wife and we have to meet her friend who works here and also needs to meet the owner and his wife in the restaurant. If you go into you really feel like you are back in Japan (one of my favorite countries to visit on the way, and the vibe there is very chill, melody and fun... The good was great and the customer service was amazing. The aal was amazing along with the tuna roll (of course I had to have a cold beer on it) and places like this is one of the reasons why I love to eat sushi with a real taste of Japan atmosphere so that it goes! I will definitely return and thank you for the hospitality!!!"

One of my favorite sushi places Torrance. I especially enjoy their Happy Hour weekdays from 4-7; 3 handrolls an order of tempura onion rings, and large saki... Then I am good to go!

The Californian roll is fresh and delicious, but the fried tentacles weren't great. It might be better to eat the roll there. The tentacles were still tough, and I wish they were crispier.

No complaints about the sushi. The fish was fresh, the piece of fish and rice ball both good sized. The location is kind of run down and crummy, but the pricing doesn?t reflect that. It?s still standard sushi pricing, which depending on the item, can be a bit expensive. I would eat here again. It?s still a better value then sushi Nozomi across town.

My wife and I have been frequenting this restaurant for seven years, and I can confidently say it's the best sushi in Torrance, without a doubt. The quality of the fish is outstanding, and the owners, Kaz and Kaz, are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They are incredibly friendly, and the rock and roll music adds to the atmosphere. They also have an excellent selection of premium sake. Every visit feels like being with family. View menu

I have no complaints about the sushi. The fish was fresh, and both the piece of fish and the rice were generously sized. The location, however, is a bit run-down and unappealing, but the prices are reasonable and remain consistent with standard sushi pricing. Depending on what you order, it can be somewhat pricey. Despite this, I would definitely eat here again. It’s still a better value compared to Sushi Nozomi over on the other side of town.

Not sure if it was just a bad day for this place, but we had high hopes of finding a new local spot on a Fri...Place had a great ambiance, definitely legit Japanese, but quality was subpar at best sent back a spicy tuna roll, which says a lot...in my 20yrs of eating sushi I've never sent back anything, especially something like a mixed roll was just made with seemingly really bad/poor fishy tasting tuna, as was the case for the other rolls and sushi. All other rolls were disappointing (Shashimi roll, burrito roll), salmon sushi was the highlight. Willing to give another go, so we shall see.
