Sweet Lou's Tap House

The waiting staff were friendly and quick, providing excellent service. However, the food could have been better. We ordered a Bisonburger and a Jalapenoburger. I asked for the jalapeno burger to be cooked medium rare, but it came out overcooked and lacked any natural juices.

This restaurant has an excellent location and a fantastic atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everyone really enjoyed their meals, particularly the fish and chips. Parking is abundant and convenient. While the service was satisfactory, it was occasionally a bit slow considering the number of servers available. The prices are what you'd expect for this kind of establishment. I will definitely return to dine here again!

I'm from Tennessee and was on a school trip when I stumbled upon this highly-rated restaurant. It turned out to be my favorite meal of the trip! I ordered the Bisonburger and the cream cheese egg rolls, and I couldn't have been happier. The photos do justice to the food. If you get the chance, please do yourself a favor and order the egg rolls—they were paired with an amazing sauce and were some of the best appetizers I've ever tasted. I had the shrimp tacos which were pretty alright however i did choose to add avocado, but my cousin got the Mac n cheese because that's usually a safe bet. Wrong. In this case if you don't like Velveetayou will not like their Mac. The restaurant does not have liquor but they do have beer and canned cocktail beverages. I didenjoy the seating area, you can choose inside or out in the warmer months and the atmosphere was pretty good.

Out of 4 take out dinners, only 1 order was correct. We ordered Mahi tacos but got chicken tacos (and the chicken was dry). The kids menu item had fry sauce instead of blue cheese. And most disappointing was the gourmet grilled cheese. We asked for no tomato and no mayo, and got only tomato and mayo (tomato not shown in picture). One of my new favorite restaurants in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, is Sweet Lou's, which is situated at the base of a stylish condo tower. I ordered the half sandwich and soup for lunch, priced at just $8.50, which was both filling and incredibly delicious! My wife opted for the BLT-A, which includes bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado. She kindly shared her fries with me, and they were fantastic! Overall, it was a lovely lunch experience at a very reasonable price. The service, food, prices, and view were all excellent, not to mention the fantastic location!

Really good experience during Restaurant Week! Appetizers were the egg rolls stuffed with cream cheese/shredded cheese mixture and calamari. The egg rolls were really flavorful and the calamari cooked perfectly. The majority of us got the lobster roll for our entree and it was better than expected! Great flavor and not heavy on the mayonnaise at all. Desserts were the Ghirardelli brownie, chocolate chip cookie, and chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. Each one provided a nice sweet bite to end the meal! They have a house IPA brewed by Laughing Dog that we really enjoyed as well!

I ate at Sweet Lou’s in Coeur d’Alene for the first time on Monday, April 25. 2022. I went for lunch with my wife, our two small children (5-year-old and 2-year-old), and my in-laws. It is in a cool spot and the restaurant is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The menu offers plenty of options, including a children’s menu. We ordered onion rings for an appetizer and they were large, crispy, and delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich.
