"If you want to find, arguably, the best bandeja paisa in Miami, this just might be the place. Not your typical hole in the wall, cheap eats but definitely a quaint and enjoyable sit down experience. Ventured here after my craving got too intense and I went to old faithful Yelp for guidance. Although relatively new, the pictures of the food really sold me and I brought some hungry souls along with me. We ordered some empanadas Colombianas, super fresh and steaming hot! The sauces they serve them with was also perfect. For entrees, we went with a Calentado Paisa the Bandeja Paisa (this one was twice the price but very hearty and more than enough for two good eaters). We also each went with some natural juices fruit limonadas coconut lime sounds odd but it works! I opted to not give the full 5 stars because of several reasons that I think they can easily fix: 1. Nicely and simply decorated but little ambiance overall adding a little authentic Colombian music or more cultural touches could help 2. The waiter was nice but kept trying to push more and more on us... even mentioning that the bandeja paisa was a decent portion but not enough for two people (it was actually more than enough and we both left stuffed) 3. Ordered a sancocho de res and although taste wasn't bad, the meat was rough and you could tell coloring had been added seems like a typical case of not having had enough time to cook it properly as it does take hours to make a proper sancocho Quality of the food is evident and I will definitely be going back to fix my next craving!"

"Managed to get in free using MDPLS. Small museum but has much in store for you. 2 limited time events were going on during my visit, including a private art collection. There was also history on Coral Gables and how the iconic buildings around the area came to be. Interesting fun facts about the city again, would go again with other relatives."

"They know you are in a good, authentic place when the food literally takes you to your grandmother's house as a kid. The black bean soup had this fantastic combination of ingredients that I only found in my grandmother's kitchen. This soup in itself was worth the trip. The swordfish starter was very good and the pisco sour was fantastic (I know pisco sour is not Mexican, but it definitely was very refreshing and mixed perfectly). In terms of price you are in NYC ... 'enough said."

"First time coming to Doc B's Fresh Kitchen and definitely lives up to its name on everything being fresh. The appetizers from the 1lb meatball, chimichurri chicken wings, the entrees like the Fall off the bone ribs and steak, the chocolate dessert with ice cream everything was phenomenal. Aside from the food being great, fresh and tasty what makes a place thrive is also the people. Our waiter (Jonathan) was awesome. My kids are very observant to good food service when we go out and they loved him. From making sure the drinks were always full, making the best recommendations, having great conversations and bringing warm moist towels for the finger foods, the service was second to none. Very rare I leave reviews to places but this made an impression. The whole family enjoyed the time here at Doc B's so much to the point we lasted 3 and a half hours! The ambience, the great food and the exceptional staff makes this place worth coming to on multiple occasions. Huge shout out to Jonathan (our waiter) and thabk you to the rest of the staff for all that you do. You will see us again in the near future."

"The service was awful. Not nearly enough interaction with the waiter and so water left un-refilled and requests not met. The food was mediocre with 3 of 4 dishes not consistent to how they have previously been served. All in all disappointing."
