"I ate carry out from here. The tacos had a really great seasoning overall. The menu offers a range of fancier tacos, to tacos that are more like a street taco. There is something for everyone. They tasted great. The corn tortillas had a great flavor, however they immediately fell apart. The yuca frita is a must, it was delicious and the sauce was made perfectly. Finally, the churros were SOOOO good I inhaled them. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4"

I ordered three Birria tacos through Doordash and discovered a bone in one of them. The first taco was delicious, but unfortunately the second one also had a bone in it. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price range: $10–20 per person.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. The service was fast and the atmosphere was very clean, including the restrooms. We dined in for dinner, and the price per person was between $10 and $20. We rated the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.

Love love love to eat here with my friends! We can each arrive, order and pay individually and then sit and eat all together as a group. It's so simple and everybody is happy. The food is delicious! My favorite go-to is the chicken nachos! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View menu

I moved to Louisville from Texas, where birria has a cult-like following. The birria tacos here did not disappoint. My complaint with many places is that the tacos are soggy--not grilled long enough. Not here. They were grilled to perfection and actually had a crispy little bite to them. Service: Dine in

After moving to Louisville from Texas, where birria is highly popular, I tried the birria tacos at this restaurant and was not disappointed. Unlike many other places, the tacos here were not soggy but perfectly grilled with a crispy bite. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was decent. I recommend trying the Birria Tacos. "Now, let's talk about the food. The crab cake appetizer was the best we've ever had! It was mostly pure crab with just enough breadcrumbs on the outside to hold it together, featuring large chunks of crab. Delicious! We had heard repeatedly that Repeal has the best steaks in the city, so we felt we had to try them. Unfortunately, we didn't agree. My filet was overcooked and actually charred on one side, even though I requested it medium well (with a bit of pink). My husband’s steak was undercooked despite him ordering medium well, too. While we could have sent them back, we usually don’t unless something is inedible, so we were just disappointed. The steaks were still edible and good—just not great! The $20 twice-baked potato wasn’t worth the price, even with truffle slices and truffle oil included. The Caesar salad was also underwhelming. The white anchovies were an interesting addition, but they didn’t elevate the salad for us. The bread pudding, however, was fantastic! I highly recommend it. On the downside, the cocktails were below par. I know this may seem like a harsh critique of Repeal, but that’s not my intention! I think we set our expectations too high and were somewhat let down given the prices. With that said, would I go back? Yes! I would just choose very different items from the menu next time and likely opt for wine over cocktails."
