"I?m a big fan of the Original Taco Chiwas location, this location is disappointing. Why? ? Quality of Food ?? Service ? Value ? Ambiance The chicken tacos ? burritos ? are dry, lacking flavor, and just underwhelming. The al pastor tacos ? and quesadillas are extremely greasy compared to the original location. On the positive side, the physical location is much bigger than the original one plus it has a bar. Speaking about the bar, the service was lacking. I ordered three alcoholic drinks and we watched them just site at the bar for 20minutes, no one bothers to serve us, I went and got them myself. Very dissatisfied with the service. It?s very expensive for this caliber of food. I spent over $120+ on food and felt hungry. Overall, save your money and go to another establishment."

Great prices! I’m giving it 4 stars because they were out of several items we wanted on a random weeknight. The service was friendly, and the food was served quickly and hot! Food: 5/5

Food was good overall. The burrito was a bit over priced for just bean and cheese inside for $6.00. Street tacos are priced each and just under 3 bucks each. Full of meat. Great flavor. Fair price. Not crazy busy on a Saturday. View menu

Excellent tacos! Asada and Birria are probably the best choices on the menu. We also had their beans and meat soup and that was delicious as well. Highly recommended if you are in town and looking for some authentic Mexican food

Good Taco Square has tasty meat and salsas, but the tortillas could use some improvement. Many other places either make their tortillas in-house or use higher quality ones. The photos from previous years suggest a different standard.

Sooooo yummy! I'm obsessed with the shrimp Tacos here, not where else compares. They make their own tortillas and all the ingredients are fresh. The in-house salsas are 10/10. Last but not least, they have the best watermelon margarita I've ever had. View menu

I absolutely love the Tacos Chiwas restaurants! I've visited the ones in Chandler and Mesa, and the Phoenix location is stunning. It’s my favorite place for incredible street tacos. The atmosphere is fantastic, and like the Mesa location, you can purchase alcohol here. The tacos are exceptional—I personally favor the tacos de tripa, tacos de lengua, and tacos de barbacoa. You should definitely check it out. Tacos for life!

This is definitely the best Mexican food I've ever had! We tried a variety of tacos, and each one was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. They were light and delicious, so definitely order several! There were also three different types of salsa: a creamy green, a roasted red, and a roasted green. None of them were too spicy, and they were all incredible. I won't be getting tacos anywhere else. Why waste your time or money? Head over to Tacos Chiwas!

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
