"Tacos la bala is an authentic Mexican restaurant that serves all kinds of delicious meals. The service is outstanding. Food is delicious! During my visit I tried the carne asada burrito and i don't regret it one bit. It was well cooked and the perfect size for one person. If u like spicy food then the green or red salsa are a perfect addition to have an amazing flavor overload. red salsa is spicier) I would definitely come back to try more dishes."

The tacos were delicious, but I discovered a broken toothpick in my shredded beef taco. Trust me, it definitely wasn't meat.

It's a good spot for Tex Mex food. If I wanted authentic Mexican food I wouldn't come here. Very fast and friendly service for sure.

Food was really good. Love the green salsa. It's spicy so don't over do it. Went at 12 pm. Horrible parking but service was fast and friendly. Definitely going back to try more items. I had the Asada and chicken tacos. View menu

Quick service and affordable prices. I gave one less star because husband complained the tripas didn't have flavor and because the torta uses bolillo instead pan de torta. Other than that, the salsas and carnes are great.

The tacos are legit! The Chicharron and the barbacoa are probably the best in Houston. The place is very clean and the food is made fresh. The green sauce is spicy and the chorizo isn't dripping grease! If there's a negative, I prefer my flour tortillas to be a little thicker... But the ingredients on the inside are excellent!

Don't let the line deter you it moves fast! I asked a coworker where to go for good Mexican food by the office and he suggested Tacos La Bala. Wow good call, my friend! I had three delicious tacos on corn tortillas, added avocado and an agua fresca Jaimica all for $10. More important that the price was just how delicious and fresh everything was I will be back!

Super excited that this place is by my area! Just found out it was here, decided to try this location. The place looks small from the outside but it has plenty of seating and parking space. They maintained it very clean both in the dining area and restroom. The orders came out crazy fast and they were good. The rice did kind of taste dry and old but everything else was delicious, the portions were good. Definitely coming back!

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
