"I was extremely disappointed with my experience, especially considering the restaurant had a 5+ rating, which felt misleading. The food was subpar and lacked flavor. I ordered a carne asado burrito that was devoid of the traditional Mexican spices and taste. The meat was tough, there was an excessive amount of crema, the guacamole was a green, watery substance with no flavor, and the rice was sparse, consisting of tiny overcooked grains. Additionally, I had to wait a long time for my order. I definitely won't be returning."

Best burritos in the Portola, hands down. The service is great too and they're very quick! You can also eat there too but very low key.

I ordered three different tacos, Buche, Langua and birria. Each one was better than the other.Came with complementary salsa's and chips. They deserve to be busy all day every day. View menu

Our go to Mexican takeout. They never mess up with our orders no matter how long it is. Kids love their crunchy tacos. I like their wet burritos. Too bad we don't like their chips.

I ordered the regular al Pastor Burrito with black beans for $9.95. It was tasty, but I prefer a bit more of a charred flavor. I enjoyed both the red and green salsas; they had a very fresh taste. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

I rarely complain about sanitation but this place could do a better job at cleaning! The floors are stickier than a dive bar at 2 am. Gross! The burrito was above average...nothing to write home about. The horchata was terrible...tasted watered down. View menu

This was my first visit, and I had the Al Pastor burrito, which was absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again. The prices were reasonable, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. The cashier was very friendly as well. I will definitely be back.

My boyfriend picked this place based on their burritos. Apparently you can get them SD style burritos with double meat and no rice. We placed an order by phone and stopped by to pick up. The burritos were big and tasty. Glad we stopped in to try a new place.I do love that have seafood and will come back to try the siete mares soup and the shrimp cocktails.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
