"Initial thoughts upon visiting: Good menu selection, good beer selection, very friendly staff. Prices aren 't bad for Carpinteria. Some things seem a little overpriced, while other items are actually cheap. I ordered shrimp and grits. Dare I say it? Thiers is better than the place in Santa Barbara that specializes in Cajun brunch. Hard to believe, but it 's true! Tasty shrimp, good quality homemade grits, spinach. Only thing missing is the andouille. My companion had a breakfast burrito with corned beef. It was very large and deemed Delicious. We took home one of their large, pricy cinnamon rolls because they were supposed to be great. They aren 't. Meh. Overall: We like it. Thumbs up."

"Great place to enjoy a tasty lunch, have a drink and people watch. Located right off Carpenteria Avenue you can enjoy the sun while enjoying some American food delights. Known for their broad local brew selection you have many options to fulfill your taste buds. The service was great, the prices are decent, and menu options are vast. My jalapeño sourdough burger was full of flavor, although the chicken sliders were a bit bland. In conclusion, I recommend stopping by for a great time in the sun on the patio to enjoy a nice lunch or quick bite and brew!"

"Delicious authentic flavors! Highly recommend trying the seafood chow mein and roasted rice, especially if you're still hungry from a previous meal. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving Chinese cuisine in the area, as it's the only one located on the beach in the city/state. We visited twice during our two-night stay and the staff was extremely friendly."

"Came here for my belated birthday celebration after a day of wine tasting in Santa Barbara. My partner I were staying in Carpinteria and thought this restaurant would be good for dinner as it was on the way back to our hotel and seemed like a cute low key spot with outdoor seating. We got seated outdoor with heat lamps right away, and had very attentive service. For our meals, we both had our own tacos with fries mine with salmon, and his with spicy cauliflower. We also shared their a board of their margarita flights that came with three types: their Rincon margarita (mezcal and ginger spin on it , Tommy's margarita (your usual kind , and Seasonal margarita (which I think was a spicy guava kind! . Service was very fast and everything was fresh and delicious. We both finished our meals without any leftovers and feeling very full. Prices were very reasonable for a nice, casual dinner that was away from the Santa Barbara crowds. If we drove, parking wouldn't have been an issue either. I would definitely come back next time to try more seafood dishes."
