"The food was quite disappointing. For a $22 seafood dish, I expected the scallops to be seasoned or seared, but instead, they were simply boiled and placed on the plate without any flair. My kids ordered the $9 mac and cheese with fries, but after just one bite, they both turned their noses up at it. It wasn't awful, but it definitely wasn't the kind of mac and cheese that most children would enjoy. When I mentioned to the waitress that the kids didn't like their meal, she didn't apologize, offer a replacement, or even consider removing it from the bill. As we were leaving, I noticed another waitress at a nearby table asking a child if they wanted something else instead of their mac and cheese. It seems I just got the inexperienced waitress that evening. This is the second consecutive disappointing meal I've had here, which is really unfortunate because the food used to be exceptional. Personally, I won't be coming back."

The food at this restaurant was fantastic. Despite being crowded, the service was quick and welcoming. I am a huge fan of this place.

As a newcomer to the area, I had an outstanding first experience at this restaurant. I opted for a seat at the bar and ordered the Black and Blue Shrimp and Scallops. I’ll definitely be returning!

The food is good but seems somewhat expensive. The service and staff are reliable, making it a decent place to visit now and then. However, I was disappointed with the Caesar salad; it was one of the worst I've ever tasted, and I wouldn't order it again.

The restaurant was clean and inviting, with well-spaced tables. The prices were quite reasonable, which was a definite highlight. The only reason I rated it 3 stars was because the service was lacking; our server was slow and appeared indifferent. Despite that, we would definitely return for the delicious food. View menu

The food was truly exceptional. We had a fantastic experience on Saturday night with our waiter, who was also the bartender. He promptly provided us with a box for our leftovers. The crab-stuffed shrimp was a delightful appetizer, and the wine he suggested complemented our meal perfectly. I'm excited to go back and try more dishes.

This restaurant never fails to impress me with its Italian platter salad and mozzarella sticks. Every penny spent is worth it, thanks to the generous portions—I always end up with leftovers. I highly recommend it! Before I could take any pictures, I also tasted the chicken and plant soup. The platter included sausage, meatballs, ziti, and spaghetti, all served with warm Italian bread and butter.

This is my second consecutive experience with issues in my takeout order. A few weeks ago, the fettuccine with black and blue shrimp and scallops was undercooked and inedible, and the entrée was missing several of its listed ingredients. On my most recent visit on August 24th, I was charged for a side Caesar salad that I never received. It's disappointing, but I won’t be returning, as the quality has noticeably declined. They've lost a loyal customer of 19 years. View menu

The food left much to be desired, featuring bland sauces and overcooked prime rib that was tough and nearly inedible. Our waitress, though kind, appeared overwhelmed. The prices were not in line with the quality of the food we received. There were several other issues throughout our visit, but overall, it felt like neither the staff nor the patrons were valued. Additionally, the food was overpriced and fell short compared to other Italian restaurants in the area.

My wife and I visited Tassone's today for Easter dinner, marking our first visit without any specific expectations. We had made our reservations a week in advance, and Mary Tassone was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the process. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from a "family-style" restaurant—warm and inviting. We noticed that many patrons were taking home or picking up orders as well. The ham dinner and chicken parmesan were both delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced. Despite the bustling holiday atmosphere, every staff member we encountered was very friendly. We have no complaints and will certainly be returning. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

"I 'll start by saying the food was delicious and the staff were extremely nice. It 's the best pizza my family has had in the area and the closest we 've had to NYC pizza. Order: We ordered the Bella Grey and the New Yorker. Flavor: The New Yorker was simple but delicious with bits of roasted garlic. I like garlic and would like more roasted garlic than the bits that were on there, but the flavor was still good. The bread also tastes like bread rather than cardboard that seems to be common in the area. The Bella Grey was good, but it came with Alfredo sauce that seemed a bit light on the parmesan. Toppings were a bit spread, but it seems like either a little more toppings or more parmesan would have fixed that. Crust: The dough in the center gave in when picked up and the dough closer to the edge of the crust was more solid. I would like more toppings, but I understand that the pizza wouldn 't hold together. For those that care about the toppings sliding off, you would need a thicker dough. With that said, the slice held together when folded which solves most issues with NYC style pizzas. I personally don 't care if the crust can hold everything, I will always prefer more toppings. Quality: There seems to be some care put into the dough in terms of how the dough was made and how it 's cooked. A stone oven is used and the result is a crust that tastes like bread. Staff: The staff were friendly over the phone and in store. Over the phone they were asked if we had ordered from them before, explained their restaurant, and mentioned their 'A ' health inspection rating. In store, they explained how they made the pizzas which is what sets them apart from the other pizzarias. The owner also mentioned that if we wanted to get our pizza extra crispy, we just needed to ask. The crispiness is made to order. Despite my concerns with flavor, everything else made the experience a good one. I rounded my score up to a five since I can 't give it a 4.7 and giving a rating of 4.0 wouldn 't be fair in this case. I will be ordering from here again."
