"Why have I not discovered this place before now? Tonight we wanted something different and Taste Buds was mentioned. We arrived to this out of the way country restaurant and boy did they deliver! I had the hamburger steak and it was the best one I have ever eaten hands down the best. Get it before supplies run out... I had a side salad and onion rings, the onion rings were ordinary but everything else was outstanding! If you like sweet tea get your belly full here before heading back home to rest in your favorite chair. As the waitress said, if you like fried green tomatoes, there a good choice . She was right! Another star on the plate. They better chain the chef to the floor before he/she is swept up by some fancy restaurant in the city... I 'll be back!"

This charming little place in the countryside serves outstanding food. Everything I've ordered there has been consistently delicious. On Sundays, they offer a fantastic meat and veggie plate that is amazing. Occasionally, on Saturday nights, they feature special dishes and live performances.

They closed down for awhile then reopened so I thought I would give them one more try. Literally waited an hour and a half for our food when it came (we got it to go) went to pay and was told their POS was down had to leave and find an ATM finally get home and of coarse it was stone cold. What a fantastic little restaurant! We were on our way home after visiting New Orleans, and I discovered this place on Yelp. The food is freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. I had the pickle fries and the fried green tomato BLT, both of which were incredible. The kids enjoyed wings, chicken, and burgers as well. If you're on a road trip, make sure to stop by this gem!

My mom and I discovered this restaurant while heading home, so I returned the next day to try the broccoli bites and compare them to Harvey's. I was pleasantly surprised! Although they don't include peppers, they're absolutely delicious! I also couldn’t resist the Sunday menu and decided to try the chicken and dressing. Let's just say I'll definitely be coming back! If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking this place out!

Take the time to drive out from Tuscaloosa and try Taste-Buds! This could definitely turn-out to be a destination restaurant! Small town, home-cooking. The burger is killer! The pizzas are great! I didn't try the Philly cheese-steak, but hear it's phenomenal. It's nestled in Buhl, so think old-timey barge board sheds and mobile home parks...not fancy. I think it was an old-timey service station. Don't be in a hurry...enjoy some southern hospitality and a few glasses of sweet tea! View menu

This is a great little joint at the center of Buhl. Good food, great people, and great service is what you'll find here. You can find a menu on their website, call in an order ahead of time for take-out, or dine in. They sometimes deliver, however, they do not have a dedicated delivery person. So, consider this restaurant a dine-in or pick-up kinda place. This place also features karaoke night on Saturday nights, and has Sunday dinner meat and threes. I would highly recommend this local favorite. It certainly beats having to drive to Northport for a decent meal.
