It was a great experience. Customer service is excellent. Only thing is I would put cold side separate from the hot foods... but it's a great place to eat. I will definitely be back. Food is really good.

Wow. I just had the bbq ribs with Mac cheese and rice and peas. The ribs fell off the bone and were very tasty. I’m so glad I found this little neighborhood spot, and mad I didn’t find it sooner. Great food. Great value. View menu

Had the turkey wings with Mac cheese and sweet potatoes, ribs, and baked chicken, the turkey wings were amazing, succulent and flavorful, I think I’ll try the jerk turkey wing next, my only issue with the place is there isn’t enough space to eat inside but food-wise it’s a 9/10

This place is awesome, serving up some good, heart warming, and filling food for the soul. I don’t get soul food nearly enough but this was some of the best I’ve had. I went with Jack Daniels ribs, cabbage and mac&cheese. The ribs were super tender and full of flavor and the sides hit the spot. This was home style cooking at its best! I’ll be back!

I would always hear about this place from people I know and when I finally got to try it, it went past my already high expectations! Just so good, not much more needed. People behind the counter were really friendly and gave me large servings because it seemed like they were closing up. It was our first time having Soul Food and the staff was extremely helpful in helping us choose from the menu. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, the people are friendly and the food is simply delicious-the meat is slow cooked until it falls off the bone and the yams are sweet and so full of flavor I was audibly mh-mhing at every bite. The small portion was plenty for me and left me feeling full for the whole day. The location is a bit out of the way but the experience is worth the trek.

I was visiting from New Orleans, and a friend took us to this soul food restaurant. I didn’t have high expectations, as I’m a southern girl and have been told I’m a good cook myself, but I was absolutely amazed! The JD turkey wings, mac and cheese, cabbage, and yams were incredible! And the potato salad was fantastic too. We enjoyed everything. The entire staff was friendly and professional, which made the experience even better. There were five of us, and we tried the ribs, chicken, and turkey wings, all cooked to perfection! We will definitely be back.

I’ve been eating this food for years and the taste has never been the problem clearly . I’ve always experienced either not being able to order on the app, long line , or having to come back in 30 minutes to a hour because food isn’t ready yet but I still decide to come back. I called ahead of time because I’m 8 months pregnant and didn’t want to have to wait to eat or be told to come back. Whoever picked up the phone wanted to be a smart a and tell me that they’re clearly serving if they’re open .
