"On the positive side, the food is served quickly and the cakes are amazing. The restaurant is clean and well-organized. However, the atmosphere feels unwelcoming and it seems like you are in the way. This will be my first and last time dining here. I spent over $30 on my meal for my client, but the food quality and customer service were very disappointing. The oxtails were not tender, the greens were too sugary, and they added extra fees to the bill. Although I left a tip, I will not be returning. The restaurant could benefit from customer service training to improve their overall success."

Since I am a foodie that has been to Culinary school I can have a different take on food. The food was not my favorite. Everything thing else was great about the restaurant.

The food was not as appetizing as it has been in the past. Also the person at the register is usually focused on other things as opposed to the customers. This was my last meal.

The food tasted the total opposite of the name. It wasn't that great. It tasted Blane fire the cook please. I wasted $30 on 2 plates of horrible food. Don't waste your money. Hopefully the drinks taste better????

Good food nice atmosphere and a place to relax if you decide to eat in. Now if you are a hard to deal with customer you can disturb the great energy in the place. Experience tasty souls food and bar for a great time. View menu

The best and closest meal options you'll find to a home cooked meal. There are lots of meal options that are offered depending on the day of the week. The restaurant has a pretty nice sized dinner style set up, with tvs playing sports.

Went there yesterday to get lunch.Fried pork chop and okra were both extremely salty,my little piece of cornbread was already crumbled, the macaroni was definitely a few days old,the collard greens were just ok.Definitely not worth $16.79.I have never written a review on a restaurant that's how terrible it was. Highly disappointed.

I would give 5 stars the food was good for the most part for this to be 1 of the only soulfood spots in Greenville I didn’t give 5 stars because the green beans was way to salty uneatable everybite I will be back tho to support my people I’m an owner myself from Charleston I told the owner I’d come back if it was good so Ill recommend View menu

I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time and I will definitely be returning. I ordered the meatloaf plate and it was delicious! The meat was well seasoned, the fried okra was excellent, and the yams were fantastic. My husband ordered the party wings and he really enjoyed them. The restaurant is kid-friendly as they play music which is a plus! It helps keep the kids entertained and gives you some peace while you eat.

I absolutely loved everything I ordered at this restaurant. The Crocker fish was perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection. The Mac-n-cheese was full of flavor and had a perfect texture. The greens were delicious, with a hint of sweetness that complemented the savory taste of the collards. The fried green tomatoes were the best I've ever had, with a crispy texture and a great pairing of flavors. What I loved most about my soul food meal was that it wasn't greasy like most fried foods can be. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my entire meal.

"We dined at Nino 's in Greenville tonight. On arrival they seated us pretty quickly (We arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation). Initial impressions were NOT good. They sat us RIGHT next to a large family with young boisterous children despite empty tables evident in all directions. Our menus were soiled with food film smears on the outside and greasy fingerprints on the paper inside. The restaurant was freezing. A bartender (I think) was repeatedly tossing empty bottles into a trash can or something so there was a periodic loud glass crash. Being an old curmudgeon I of course had to of course complain. The manager came over and apologized and the noise stopped. Temporarily. Until the bartender forgot and did it again. I had hoped to get the (recommended) Pork Ossobuco, but it was not on the menu tonight and was probably a special. I inquired about it and the waitress replied What is ossobuco? She then brought us a bread service of four VERY oily soft squares of focaccia which were really delicious. I know now where the greasy fingerprints on the menus came from. My wife ordered chicken parmesan and thought the flavor was good, but the chicken breast was a little chewier than expected. It was served with spaghetti and was a large portion. I ordered spinach pappardelle with a wonderfully rich and creamy burrata and white truffle sauce topped with blackened shrimp. This dish was VERY good and I 'd order it again if we return. The shrimp were cooked perfectly... just the right complement to the delicious sauce. We enjoyed a bottle of Nino 's Falanghina, a white wine somewhere in the ballpark of an albariño or sauvignon blanc. It was very good and was a good value. It paired very well with the meals. We passed on dessert but there were several interesting options. All in all, I truly enjoyed my meal and would order it again. My wife felt that the chicken parmesan was pretty pedestrian and was no better than we can make at home or get in"
