Tastys Donuts - Menu

These donuts are absolutely incredible! The excellent service makes this my favorite spot. My coworkers enjoy them just as much, so I like to pick up a box whenever I want to share a little happiness.

The bread is incredible, the birote is outstanding, and the cebada is delicious. The tortillas are always a favorite, and they consistently have great value doughnuts available. This place is simply fantastic!

I really enjoyed the authentic pan dulce here. I'm from Texas, and I find that the pan dulce there isn't as authentic. I think it's a brilliant idea to combine donuts, coffee, and menudo! It makes for a complete breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I absolutely love it! View menu

Holla at yo guuuurl mr cake and old fashion donut! Came in because the man loves the donut holes but they were out, so we opted to get a few to go. I didn't care much for the glazed donut, but their old fashion and cake donut were yummy!!! The cake was fried enough where the outside was crisp and delicious. It's a small place that also serves food, but we probably won't come for that. They also sell pan dulce if you're looking for some.

Terrible experience! At 6 AM, the donuts were stale and hard. When I asked if there were any fresh ones, I was told they wouldn't have any until 11 AM, as they prepare them the night before. I couldn't believe it! While I was looking for something else, I noticed flies on some of the donuts. No thanks, I’ll just stick to coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee station was a mess, with coffee and sugar spilled all over the counter. Overall, a horrible experience.

I was served by a lady with blondish hair, and I ordered two sweet teas. However, she gave me one sweet tea and one unsweetened, which I didn't request. I also asked for lemon wedges for both teas, but only one of them had lemon. Additionally, she wasn't wearing a face mask while serving my teas and bread. To top it off, there was a fly buzzing around the donuts, hopping from one to another. I really wish they had closed doors to prevent flies from getting near the food. View menu

After years of stopping by this donut shop on our frequent road trips from LA to Mexicali, I can confidently say the tortas here are fantastic! I usually go for the steak or pork (pierna) torta, both of which never disappoint. On my most recent visit, the steak had a bit more fat than usual, but the house-made teleras really made up for it. After all these years, we finally asked if they make the teleras for the tortas, and to our delight, they do! We left with a bunch of this amazing bread. This restaurant is open 24 hours and was quite busy on Friday night at 10:45 PM. They offer a variety of items including tortas, burritos, croissant sandwiches, and plenty of other non-doughnut options. While the cookies could use a bit more sweetness, the baked goods tend to lose some of their appeal when enjoyed late at night. However, the machaca and egg burritos were absolutely fantastic! The homemade machaca, grilled onions, and green chile mixed with eggs all wrapped in a fresh tortilla for just $5.99 were a real treat. I've visited this place several times and heard great things about their tortas. I tried the ham and cheese torta, which also came with tomato, avocado, lettuce, mayo, and other toppings. The bread was freshly made and incredibly soft! The aroma of the fresh bolillos as you walk in is simply delightful. While the sandwich looked fantastic, it lacked a bit in flavor—perhaps it just needed a sprinkle of salt. But hey, this is Brawley!
