"I have just had a delivery order from Tau Bay restaurant. The food is quickly sent to me just as the app estimated. However, there is a cockroach in the meat, as shown in the pics.Fortunately, it is dead and lied near the top of the chunks so I could see it timely. I called to the restaurant to complain and Diana, the daughter of the owners, who quickly apologized and issued a refund.I appreciate her act but I guess I still owe the public to report what I experienced and restaurant owners to be more serious with food handling/storage or they will lose the business while unintentionally hurting customers. (I hope that I won't get any food poisoning as I already tried to taste the broth prior to the discovery)"

Egg rolls are amazing as always! Pho and vermicelli rice platters never let me down!

The chicken was spoiled, the menu prices are outdated, and the overall atmosphere of the place felt dirty and of low quality.

I left a 10 percent tip for a pick up and they charged an extra $5 dollars to my card for extra tip. Will not pay with card anymore. View menu

Absolutely the most amazing pho broth in Houston! The family is so sweet also. The food is great! My go to pho spot I recommend to everyone

I used to enjoy this restaurant, but now it’s frustrating. Their menu doesn't reflect the correct prices. I understand that inflation affects everyone, but it's difficult to know what to expect when ordering with an outdated menu.

Don’t eat here !!! I will never eat at this restaurant anymore! I went to eat a soup and found a death cockroach, after a few months, I decided to take a risk again, ordered a spring roll and I found a worm in the lettuce, it made me very sick. They are not clean at all !!! View menu

I visited this restaurant at noon to sample their grilled pork with rice and spring rolls. The flavors are absolutely delightful, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the grilled meat was just right. The spring rolls were fresh and tasty. If you're a fan of traditional cuisine, this is definitely a great spot to check out!

The experience was just okay, but the customer service left much to be desired. I placed an order through DoorDash, and it took them about 15 to 20 minutes to confirm it. When I called to inquire, a gentleman who had trouble speaking English said he would get his daughter. However, he then just hung up on me. When I called back, I spoke to his daughter, who informed me that they were no longer taking orders but would still process mine as a final order. Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. I ordered shrimp fresh spring rolls as advertised on DoorDash, but instead received grilled pork. I could only manage a few bites before I had to stop eating, as I felt like I might be sic...

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
