"I had a pleasant experience with the staff, who were very friendly and even offered me a complimentary water. Unfortunately, the gyros wrap I ordered fell short. It was difficult to eat and, quite honestly, quite messy. The gyros I received were flat and pressed, which looked nothing like what was presented on the menu. The packaging was oversized, leaving me unsure of how to manage all of it; it definitely couldn't be enjoyed as a wrap. The fries were lacking in salt, and the ketchup served was of a low-quality brand. Additionally, the fork provided was flimsy and bent as I tried to use it. The tzatziki sauce was also not what I expected, as it was a different type altogether. To top it off, the cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired."

We had the chicken Ke Ke and the beef Suqaar. They were both delicious. We don’t live anywhere near Burnsville, but we are scheming a reason to come back and try more dishes.

Authentic Somali food came out like home made, nice staff. They really really need to make this place like new again. It needs a really good deap clean and renovation. I wish them the best of luck because they can do really well I'm sure if this place was like new

I tried the fish and beef loaves at the restaurant. The fish buns were delicious and had a subtle hint of coconut. The beef loaves were flavorful with a variety of spices, but not spicy at all. I celebrated my daughter's birthday there with her friends, and we had a wonderful time. View menu

I came across some fantastic reviews, and I was not disappointed! I left feeling full and still craving more. The service was friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Chicken Kay Kay with cheese and the Chicken/Beef Suqaar with rice. I will definitely be returning, and I’m even planning to take some back home to Chicago!

Fantastic food and friendly service! Every time we have visited, we are promptly greeted by regular visitors and staff. The food is made very quick (under 10 min) and the portions are HUGE! Prices are absolutely appropriate, if not slightly low, for the food you get. Every meal is served with a banana and drink from the cooler, but I highly recommend the warm chai tea to warm your throat. The spices used are well proportioned and create a beautiful symphony on flavor without the harsh spicy burn afterwards. However, if you wish for more of a kick, the meals come with a fragrant hot sauce. I really wish we had East African food back home.
