Both scenery and food was a hit! 25 yes. later I still remember coming as a little girl. I definitely will be back soon.

I've been with my family since I was a kid, they love it. It's a real cowboy steak house, no hairs, only meat. Each side is extra, so don't forget to order it. The tasty of meat is hit or missed, I would say. Sometimes it is perfect and others it is fat or boiled over. Interior and exterior seats, lighting is always a problem when the sunsets. Lanterns and ambient lighting illuminate the panels. Give it a shot if you want a rustic experience

I read some of the reviews and almost decided not to go, but I'm so glad I did! The service was excellent, and the food was even better—worth every penny. The restaurant has a fantastic Western theme, complete with live music, great drinks, and incredible dishes. The beans and bread were unlimited, so don’t pay attention to what others might say about them. The salad was fresh and crunchy, and the beans were really flavorful. My husband and I both ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful smoky flavor. We will definitely be returning!

This old school rustic steakhouse is tucked away against South Mountain. It has a lot of steak varieties and all are plainly served but perfectly cooked to order. Dinner comes with a small salad, beans, and a couple pieces of wheat bread. The place was pretty packed so service got a little slow but the staff was very nice. Picnic tables with bench seating and checkered tablecloths add to the ambience in this old stone building. There was a decent country singer on Friday night. I assume they have live music on the weekends. Doesn?t take reservations unless it?s a party of 8 or more. Has quite a bit of parking.

Great dinner tonight. Had the 14 oz New York stripes and it was excellent I would show you a picture, but good I ate it too fast. Western view and beautiful view of the valley. Friendly and friendly service, perfectly grilled steak. The best part was the steak tasted like steak should not be too spiced or extra salty. It really makes the taste of beef come through. Ranch beans and a garden salad with ranch supplement the meal. If you have never been here, you have to come if nothing else is just to see the beautiful view, but the food is also quite good. My husband ordered the T-bone steak, which was cooked perfectly, but it was overly salty. I had the salmon, which had no seasoning at all! Additionally, the front of the salmon was nearly overcooked while the middle was slightly undercooked. On a positive note, the salad was delicious and a perfect portion. Dinner should ideally include salad, cowboy beans, and bread. Again, while the salad was excellent, we were disappointed with the side of beans and the butter that accompanied the bread. Went with the family to this steakhouse that I hadn't been to in years and years and family wanted to try it. The location is beautiful on the north side of South Mountain. You have skyline views and can really see stars. If you blink, you'll miss the sign that points you to the restaurant while on 19th Ave. If you're at Dobbins, you haven't gone far enough. Aside from the lovely views, the restaurant is only open for dinner, so 5pm forward. The menu is very limited. That can be both good and bad.
