"The Chinese food near Denver is absolutely delicious. This restaurant has been serving great meals for 35 years, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The food was flavorful and served hot, with portion sizes being just right. The egg drop soup was the best I've ever tasted, though the fried rice could use a bit more vegetable. I will definitely be back!"

Very quick service. Decent Chinese food. Treasure pot nearby is better. Good backup if it is Sunday and treasure pot is closedFood: 3/5

It’s not easy finding authentic Chinese food here in Denver. Tea Garden fixed that. Go for the food and staff, stay for the people watching. This place is a hidden gem.

This place was always my favorite. Since moving back after 15 years it still is! We enjoy this as a date night place and it is always good! Sesame chicken and hot and sour soup are my favorites!

I walked in with three others just five minutes before closing, and we were delighted by the incredible sesame and orange chicken. This Chinese restaurant has fantastic food and has been at the same location for ages. Food: 5/5. View menu

We had a wonderful dining experience! I ordered the Mongolian beef, while my wife chose the sweet and sour chicken. Both dishes were fantastic. We also enjoyed the best crab wontons I've ever tasted—they were incredibly soft and fresh.

Came in during lunch time, we ordered our soups, and plate and was out and about right away. I like this place and the food was fresh! I’ll be coming back for sure! I wished they would’ve had Siracusa sauce to go with my plate but it was so good I’ll let it slide, besides that no complaints. View menu

ALWAYS GOOD! We love this place! The service is lightning fast and the food is consistently wonderful. The staff is kind and extremely accommodating. We eat here 3 or 4 times a month and the staff always remembers us and what we order. Very clean as well. This is an Arvada staple that I hope never goes out of business.Food: 5/5

I usually don't give 5-star ratings, but this restaurant truly deserves it! It's a fantastic spot, and I can't wait to try everything on the menu. The staff is great, and the place is clean. They offer lunch specials, and their hot and sour soup is the best I've ever had. Also, the cold chai tea is going to be my new favorite treat!

"So I suppose it's up to the manager of a restaurant whether to replace a returned entree at no extra charge the customer for the uneaten food. Whatever the policy at Sakana (we didn't ask when we saw the item in question added to our bill, we didn't feel like getting into an argument), we still found the attitude of the server when my girlfriend didn't enjoy her spicy miso ramen to be unacceptable. Instead of simply offering a replacement when my girlfriend explained that she couldn't taste any miso in the broth, the lady server told us that the miso ramen tasted as intended and that adding more paste to the broth would make it too salty. It still didn't taste very good, but whatever. Fine. My gf orders the curry ramen instead. It's pretty decent, nothing to write home about. At the end of the meal, we get charged full price for the spicy miso even tho all she ate of it was the egg added at additional cost. Did not mention this before the bill came out. We probably would've moved on without complaint if we hadn't been talked down to when trying to replace the order or had the return policy more clearly explained to us. Will not be coming back due to this experience. I've been to better and more expensive restaurants that return and replace an entree, no questions asked, especially when -you didn't eat it-. I've had $50 steaks taken back without being charged, but you're gonna die on the hill of your watery $15 ramen? No thx. The food, for the most part, is okay. My tonkutsu ramen broth was acceptable, tho my pork was overcooked. My gf's replacement curry ramen was better than the spicy miso, but it was not great. It did have tasty fried chicken, but very few other ingredients besides noodles and spinach. She wasn't so into it. Where the cuisine shines is the sushi. The fish tastes like it's well sourced and is adequately competitive for the price range. We didn't love the ramen experience, but we were actually considering coming back just for the sushi before we saw that they'd charged us for the returned food. The shrimp shumai appetizer was tasty but a little skimpy on the portions, four tiny dumplings for $8 or $9. Ultimately, Sakana is worth going to if you just want sushi and don't mind a somewhat cramped and loud atmosphere during peak hours and a snooty attitude from the staff. I'd have added more stars if not for the service experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Nigiri"
