"I decided to give this restaurant a try. It was on the pricier side, but the food was good. Unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to eat inside, and I wasn’t permitted to use the restroom either. The portion sizes didn’t justify the cost; we spent $34.50 for two meals, which felt like a lot for the amount of food we received. My husband said his General Tso Chicken was the best he’s ever had, while I thought my Teriyaki was comparable to other places I’ve tried. Overall, I probably won’t return."

Tried the beef and prawns combo as well as the chicken. Not really prawns, more your typical small shrimp. But still good. Beef was incredible! I'd recommend that as the go to. View menu

If you want to support local small businesses, this is the place to go. A family owned restaurant with a welcoming and caring owner. This place is a staple of the community with amazing food! I reccomend the Spicy Teriyaki. Don't forget to get extra salad!!!

I’m amazed that this restaurant made it through the pandemic! It's hard to believe that my last visit was five years ago. My absolute favorite dish here is the Pork Fried Rice! While it is a bit pricey, it's important to remember that it's a small family-owned establishment. The owner is always warm and friendly whenever I arrive. I hope everyone else has a great experience too! View menu

I've always had a passion for teriyaki, and I've been visiting this place since my childhood, and it hasn't changed at all. The owners, a husband and wife team, have managed to keep the business going even through the pandemic! Please do yourself a favor and check it out—you won’t be disappointed. The ingredients are always fresh, and the food is cooked to perfection every time. I can confidently say I won't be going anywhere else!

This is a great spot to support local businesses! Everyone in Bethany should try this place. It was my first visit, and the owner was incredibly friendly. The restaurant was very clean, and I received my food in just 7 minutes—everything was fresh and served hot. It's also very affordable, making it a perfect option for students seeking a quick, budget-friendly meal. I feel so fortunate to live just 30 seconds away; this will definitely be my go-to restaurant from now on!

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend. The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper. There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"
