"As someone whose italian and cooks authentic food or eats from connecticut, new jersey, new york, this was absolutely disgusting. My lasagna was $22, a small slice and it was literally just tomato paste with ground beef. It was so acidic I couldn’t eat it and the meat didn’t even taste of anything. I honestly can’t believe they made above 4 stars at all when olive garden puts them to shame. I wouldn’t be pressed about it but for what they’re charging, they should be ashamed. I would not call this italian food whatsoever. They’re ripping people off calling this “authentic” italian food, charging people for the experience when real italians would use fresh ingredients not canned tomato sauce. I make my sauce from scratch and while it is expensive for me, it’s way better than whatever this is. If you think this food is good you haven’t had authentic italian food before and that’s the exact reason they’re making so much money. Read the 1 star reviews from people who are actually italian before you waste your time. Also the customer is always right, you’re fighting with your clientele over putting bad reviewsPlease don’t call yourselves real italians because we don’t act in that disrespectful manner. Your squid is literally frozen, the breadsticks were hard as a rock and you put so much oil that the pasta looks like soup. This place was AMAZING. Shrimp tuscano was to die for, and the bruschetta was just as incredible! Service was great and the setting is a charming Main St must! We?d drive the 45 minutes to McAdenville just to eat here! Will be back ASAP!

This was the absolute BEST food my husband and I have ever had in a restaurant setting. The flavors in everything were perfect and the food was well presented. The owner, restaurant manager and staff were magnificent. We will be back many more times! We had to get dessert to go because we ate so much but didn?t want to miss their beautiful sweets!

We usually love this place but we went in at 2:30 and was told by one of the workers that they close at 3 so they didn’t want to seat us. He wasn’t very nice about it either. This was my first unhappy experience. I guess they need a sign on the door that says they close at 3 but not serving customers after 2. The food is very good! So far we have tried the chicken parmigiana, chicken masala, bruschetta margherita pizza all were delicious! What a cute place with great service. Will definitely be back can’t wait to try the tiramisu. Highly recommend!!! Called to ask about reservations, and was greeted with a nasty and rude manager who hung up on me multiple times, to keep thing short. For someone who runs a business, she was very unprofessional and just an overall low human being. I understand things get busy and frustrating, but it doesn't excuse ANYBODY, to talk to me the way she did. I was just calling to inquire about spending my money at her establishment...Imagine how she will treat you. Terra Mia is forever NOT an option.

Unfortunately, we will never return. I called to potentially place a reservation, my called was dropped and I had issues with the connection. When I finally got the manager on the phone, she was very irritated and frustrated that someone who wanted to come and spend money and time at her establishment was having a connection issue. She must have had a bad day, or maybe pooped her pants, who knows. As a business owner here in Charlotte area, customers come first, always- and this seems to NOT be the case here at Terra Mia. Man, she was so rude.
