"First time in Charlottesville, decided on Thai amongst the many food choices offered in such a small area. And boy were we not disappointed. For our appetizers, we ordered the Vegetable spring rolls, that came with a sweet chili sauce, excellent choice. Main dishes were the Pad Thai, dish were you cant go wrong and the Drunken Noodles. My date is vegan, so both dishes had some alterations, but were not disappointing in the least. Food came to us hot and full of flavor. Wanted to get more pictures of the inside but being on crutches is greatly limiting. But fret not, they do have a ramp that makes for easy access for all modes of transit. I cant wait to come back and try more dishes, this place is a must try."

One of the best Thai Restaurants in Charlottesville area. My all time favorite Thai restaurant in this area. My wife and I like spicy food and this is the best Thai food that we found. Drunken Noodles are the best here.

Was surprised to see that Thai 99 was no longer here. Wasn’t too sure what to expect from here. Prices seemed reasonable and portions looked filling. When the food came out it was confirmed, the flavor may have been better than the old Thai 99 and was definitely very filling and satisfying. View menu

Ok I'm usually not one to be stingy with stars, but can only give 3 here. Got the crispy duck pad thai. Noodles were meh, at best. Flavor was just ok. Really looking forward to the thai tea, but came out with a very generous portion of whipped cream on top. As this might sound nice, it really over sweetened the drink and was hard to finish.

After hearing about this place for years, (in a different location, 99% sure. I had to come try it. It sits in the same spot as the old thai 99. And is very on par with the original recipes and flavor profiles. Something I’ve never quite found at any other place. I was beyond pleased with my experience, my crazy large cup of thai tea as well as delicious food. So much that it was beyond the hype to the person who visited with me. A million and one stars.

The restaurant was stunning, and every dish we tried was fantastic. The staff was attentive, helpful, and genuinely seemed to take joy in preparing excellent food for us. This was likely the most positive dining experience I’ve ever had, and the best part is that it’s affordable! Halfway through our meal, I mentioned to my boyfriend that I wanted to leave an extra-large tip, and he replied, "No, I was planning to do that!" We definitely plan to return frequently. View menu

The food was amazing! We ordered takeout, but my husband mentioned that the interior has been completely renovated and looks stunning. We tried pad see-ew, pad prik king, Tom yum soup, and duck rolls. The prik king and duck rolls were the highlight of the meal, and the pad see-ew was also tasty—my four-year-old even asked for two more servings of the "yummy noodles." The Tom yum soup was good, but I wish it had a bit more flavor. I’m thrilled to have such delicious food in the neighborhood!

We ordered takeout and got our usual favorites: Pad See Ew, Pad Thai, and some summer rolls. The summer rolls were sizable and had a great balance of ingredients, unlike some we’ve had that were mostly filled with shredded iceberg lettuce. The portions and flavors of the noodle dishes were generous, and we were thoroughly satisfied! There are several Thai restaurants in Charlottesville, but after tonight’s experience, it’s clear this will be our new go-to. We’re really happy to have it in the neighborhood!
