Thai Thai Oceanside

We were there for Sunday lunch. The service is good, friendly and quick. The thai tea with bobba was good, not too sweet. Unfortunately the food had no flavor. They rely heavily on garlic and spiciness for flavor. The broth from the wonton soup was extremely hot water with chili.

I ordered the lunch specials while searching for my new favorite Thai restaurant, and I will probably come back here again. The presentation of the takeout lunches was delightful! Each meal even includes a delicious egg roll. The Thai tea was also enjoyable, just the right amount of sweetness.

It was the best thai I've had in a long time! I was blown away with the flavor of the Yellow Curry I got. Curry has been a recent favorite of mine and I absolutely loved it here. Look no further for good Thai food. Great service, tasty Tom Kha green curry dishes, outstanding staff. Food was prepared quickly and staff friendly. Dine-in experience was pleasant, clean and well-decorated interior, comfortable seating. Thai Thai Oceanside is one of the best Thai restaurants in all of San Diego county.

Weekday dinner review: It was completely empty and we got served pretty quick. Pad Thai noodles were very chewy and it took effort in biting those long noodles off. Otherwise standard, unremarkable flavors. The other dish was very sour and I couldn't bare to eat much of it. At least portions were big? Probably won't come back though Food: 4/10 Service: 6/10 Experience: 5/10 Value: 6/10

The food here is quite good. I particularly enjoy the soup, Pad Thai, and the sticky mango rice. However, the service leaves much to be desired. The staff can be a bit rude and seem as though they are reluctant to be there, which makes for a less friendly experience. Additionally, the restaurant is quite small and doesn't create a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, while the food is excellent, the service and ambiance could use improvement. View menu

I've dined at other Thai restaurants where they've been accommodating and switched out noodles as needed, so this experience was incredibly disappointing. I love supporting family-owned businesses, but I felt poorly treated here. Their menu even states that they are willing to accommodate dietary restrictions, but they certainly did not. I was there with my husband and four young children, and I specifically mentioned our celiac disease and the serious consequences of gluten exposure, yet the staff remained rude about the situation. You can really tell that the staff cares about the restaurant; it’s always clean and well-decorated. When I visited in February, the place was even themed for Valentine’s Day. After such a great first experience, I had to return. I savored their Pad Thai again and also tried the Tom Kha. The Pad Thai was just as good as I remembered, and the Tom Kha was fantastic. The seafood Tom Kha came served in a heated pot, allowing me to scoop out what I needed into a bowl. I couldn’t resist getting the $5 mega-sized Thai Boba tea, which was sweet and delicious. I must mention, though, that the size is something to consider—it even had a handle for easy carrying! You can really tell that they take pride in their restaurant; it’s always clean and nicely decorated. I noticed they had a lovely Valentine’s Day theme when I visited in February.
