The Barefoot Burger

Good establishment. Went there on a Sunday. Small crowd. 1st time there. Excellent service and attitude. Food good.

Food was fresh and excellent! Are waitress was so friendly and gave us great service! We will be back when we are in town!

Very average place, the server was nice to talk too. If I can make the food myself at home it’s not really worth the money to me but I do think the two employees we saw were very View menu

This place feels just like home to me. It reminds me of Cheers, where everyone knows your name. The food is outstanding, the staff is fantastic, and there's always a fun atmosphere!

Good burgers and service however the interior is a little bit bland, but there is a bar downstairs that does look good and is nice. Parking: Little area for parking right next to the building that can have like 10 cars and then there is also paid street parking and a paid gravel lot right in front of it. View menu

This was definitely a locals hangout, but we were welcomed and did not feel out of place. The service was friendly and prompt. The food and adult beverages were very good and at a good price. My wife had the volcano fries, and I had a build your own burger with fries. We will definitely eat here again next time we are in town.

Our appetizer of fries and BBQ never arrived, which may have been a blessing in disguise. When our burgers and fries finally came, the fries were so overcooked they were like long potato-based croutons—with only a few of them being edible. As for the burgers, mine was covered in a spiced sauce that I hadn't ordered, which set my sinuses on fire and upset my stomach shortly after. My friend's burger, however, was good. It appeared they were training some kitchen staff, but the absence of our appetizer, the overcooked fries, and the mix-up with my burger were disappointing. My wife and I were driving across several states and decided to eat mid afternoon in Crawfordsville today. We drove into town around 3PM (about 5 min from the interstate) and decided to go into Barefoot Burger. The bar area was very cozy and comfortable during this crummy winter weather. I can’t remember when I’ve had a Bison Bleu Cheese and Bacon burger that tasted that good! My wife’s burger was also one of the best she’s ever had. And the freshly made broccoli salad they served was also amazingly delicious.
