"I decided to try this bakery based on a recommendation from Yelp, as I love bakeries. The place is quite small, but we were able to find a spot for our baby stroller. The selection of pies was limited, with only three available around 3 pm, but I believe they bake throughout the day so it may vary. I tried the pecan molasses and maple walnut pies, which were good and tasted homemade, with quality ingredients. However, the portion sizes were small, so I also had to order a scone and muffin to feel full. Overall, it was a nice experience, but The Blue Stove did not become my favorite bakery."

Really great pies, and pretty good breakfast sandwiches. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Purchased a strawberry rhubarb pie just before they are sadly closing. It was a big hit! My love to all employees. Good luck in the future!

The Smoked Ham Swiss Cheese scone was quite savory. From the looks of it, there are a lot of items on display that an epicurean can experience with pleasure.

Absolutely Delicious Treats and excellent service, only reason I didn't give 5stars is not a reason not to come and treat yourself... but the place is small and has limited seating.

The pies and coffee at this restaurant are exceptional. I recommend trying the pies in-store so they can be warmed up for you. My favorite flavors are guava chess, bourbon pecan, and all the fruit crumbles. View menu

A neighborhood gem that specializes in pie, with both sweet and savory options available. The staff is friendly and happy to give out recommendations. They also have a variety of other pastries available and offer a fairly popular chocolate bundt cake, but the pie is the star of the show. The blueberry apple pie is amazing, with a light and flaky crust. For those concerned, there is no lard in the crust: they use vegetable shortening.

The plum raspberry crumble is one of the best pies I've ever tasted. The bacon scone was also delicious with its smoky and moist flavors. However, the molasses coffee cake was just okay. Despite that, there were many other tempting pie options available. Overall, I would give five stars for the pie, but be aware that seating is limited. Some customers had laptops and took up a lot of space, leaving little room for others to enjoy their food.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
