"The daily specials are the highlight, and most of us end up taking our desserts home because we're too stuffed to finish. We have our favorites, of course. The cabbage rolls are made the traditional way and are some of the best I've tasted. I'm always impressed by the fried chicken—it’s just right. My son can't get enough of the pork carving, particularly the shed potatoes. I also enjoy the Swiss steak, prepared just the way I like it, reminiscent of my mom's cooking. Occasionally, when I’m craving something indulgent, I treat myself to her delightful Jello salad as an appetizer. A lady I know always orders the onion rings to share because they’re so good.
The menu isn’t overwhelming, but everything we’ve tried has been well-prepared and enjoyable, especially given the prices. Every time I leave Randall's, I have a warm feeling about the place and the people who run it. It’s a hidden gem, and much of the food feels like comfort food. If you head south on Route 51 and spot a small spot with a packed parking lot, that’s Randall’s. You’ll be glad you discovered it!"
