Everything about Anchor North was incredible. Best **** Mary we've EVER had. The Chef knows what he's doing. My husband had the sirloin stroganoff and the steak was a perfect medium well. I had the Caprese pasta with chicken and the flavor was out of this world. Our server Amy R. was amazing. She was attentive, kind and always had a smile on her face (I'm a server myself so having GREAT service is a huge plus).I HIGHLY recommend going there.

Sunday brunch is a must-try! We ordered biscuits and gravy, pancakes, French toast, and a breakfast sandwich. The pancakes are likely the best I've ever tasted. The sauce on the breakfast sandwich was exceptional. The biscuits and gravy had a wonderful flavor and generous portions. The hash browns that accompanied the sandwich are truly unique. The service was fantastic, and the outdoor atmosphere is lovely, complete with a playground for the energetic kids. It's definitely kid-friendly!

Food and drinks were huge let down and so expensive. The cockails were way too sweet and the food was low quality for the prices. I had walleye which had some odd sauce over it that made it mushy. No one else like their meals much either. It seems like new owners are trying to be fancy with interesting meals and ingredients but the quality is nowhere near what they are aiming for. We've heard from multiple others they have had similar experiences. I really hope they figure it out because I don't think they'll make it with the low quality of the food as is now. I took my grandchildren for an early supper. We sat outside so the kids could play on the little playground. The waitresses put up umbrellas in all the tables but ours. It was very warm and sunny. Our waitress was not attentive at all. She spent her time talking with her table that was buying drinks. We sat in the hot sun waiting for our bill. I asked for 3 take-home boxes as the kids didn't eat much of their supper. The waitress had brought their beverages well before our food ever arrived. She brought one. We went early to avoid them being busy, but it made no difference. The service was still unsatisfactory. Will not go again.Kid-friendliness: There's a small playground.

When the band started playing, the noise level was louder than any rock concert I've ever been to, even those where earplugs were necessary. A few minutes later, our entrees arrived. I had the steak stroganoff, which was fantastic, while my companion ordered the chicken dill sandwich and said it was very disappointing. We ordered a beer and a glass of wine when our entrees came out, but we didn't receive them until after we had finished our entire meal. I noticed our drinks sitting at the bar for over 20 minutes before someone finally brought them over, all while our waitress was in the corner rolling silverware.
