The Clubhouse Schaumburg

We had a giftcard. That’s the reason we went. Not really impressed, though. Food was barely warm and fair. We might try the bar in the future, but that’s all....

very nice restaurant, but super expensive! great for a special occasion, but not only go to dinner on Friday night. explains why it was completely empty on a Friday night. there were only two more tables next to us.

We were happy to find this restaurant in Schaumburg. The space is vey nice and the food and the service were excellent. I had a chicken dish which was very flavorful and my wife had a salad which was also very good. We will be back. View menu

Service was very poor. Our server brought us incorrect drinks, drinks we didn’t order, and was rude to our party. Took about 20 minutes minimum to get a drink, and the place was empty. And it was New Years Eve! No reason we shouldn’t have had great service. Will be going to the Oakbrook location from now on.

We had a 10:30 reservation and arrived 10 minutes early. The brunch was not set up and the food that was ready was cold. It was a huge disappointment that they were ready even though they opened at 10am. The carving stations were not open till 10:45. I have eaten at the Oakbrook location many times but Schaumburg was disappointing!!

The atmosphere and dining room(s) at The Clubhouse were very elegant. In the entrance is a lovely high water wall that forms the backdrop to a circular staircase to the upstairs area. The entrance to the main dining room greets you with the assortment of desserts on the menu for the night, which is always nice to see! Our meal itself was very good, and we ordered an array of items from across the menu. Nothing was absolutely spectacular, but everything was very good. we arrived at a sat night at 19 o'clock. we had a reservation and sat right away. the restaurant was not full. we sat on a table in the bar. there may be 6 tables. in the evening it took 20 minutes to get a round drink (at any time) we also asked a runner to bring the server to a round, and that never happened. we asked the server for food recommendations, but he seemed uncertain what is recommended. all in all, it was good to eat. Entree salads were a big one, like the sidecaprese salad. we also had steaks and a sandwich order we liked. but if we look at the service, they do not know if we are back.

for my wife and I was our third time within a two-month holiday period. one was our church group Christmas dinner for 12 people in a private dining room, the second time was a New Year's dinner with another couple, and the third was in the evening with six family members. in all three places the service and the food were excellent and we liked the moderately quiet opposite where we sat. the dessert menu had a nice selection and was for to die. we had a lot of fun interacting with the waiters and waiters who served us. I would recommend eating in clubhouse to anyone who enjoys the experience of fine eating and a good time.

When we arrived there was only two other tables that were occupied in the entire restaurant. When the waiter came to the table we asked for two checks. He said fine and took our drink order. Two out of the three drinks came out wrong was the start. We ordered our meals and one came out wrong and our burgers (3) which we ordered medium were closer to well done. The buns were very dry and four times too big for the burger. The bus boy kept taking silverware and dishes away from the table in order to rush us. When the check came it wasn’t separate as we requested. Very disappointed in this restaurant! It will be quite awhile before I return here if ever. View menu
