During our recent visit on September 1, 2022, my wife ordered the pizza, which was, as always, amazing. I chose the shrimp and scallops scampi served over spaghetti. Since I'm on a low-carb diet, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they offer zucchini noodles as a substitute for regular spaghetti. I decided to give them a try, and they were fantastic! This option really expands the menu for those of us monitoring our carb intake, as zucchini has only 3.5 grams of carbs per cup compared to 43 grams in traditional spaghetti. I highly recommend this place, and the waitstaff was exceptional as well."

"I have dined at San Jose several times and have always enjoyed the food and service, but today was a different experience. My wife and I both ordered the shrimp tacos. She had them before and loved them, but this time they were disappointing. Instead of whole shrimp, they were chopped up and mixed with rice, which seemed like a filler, and topped with sauce and shredded cheese. The flavor was very bland. The service was also lacking. The server took our drink order and delivered our drinks, then brought our food a few minutes later but didn't check on us until it was time to present the check. Speaking of the check, it was $2.00 over the menu price for each item and $2.75 for a glass of weak iced tea. Unfortunately, we will be searching for a new Mexican restaurant. I'm not sure if there's a new owner or management, but this place is not what it used to be just a couple of months ago, and it's a real shame."
