"It was my first time trying the dancing potato, I love a good loaded potato so I was excited to try this place out when I saw it in Lexington market. I ordered the one that has Alfredo sauce, crab meat, shrimp, and broccoli and it had good flavor. I didn’t necessarily like that it was oily immediately. I also didn’t like that the middle of my food was cold, they may be a newer eatery and possibly still working to get better equipment but I don’t necessarily like my food being microwaved as soon as I get it. I would try them again but likely not get something with a sauce as the oil was kind of obnoxious. The place was very clean and the ladies working were quiet but overall polite."

Love the Potato but peel the Shrimp on the Baltimore Potato... Don't have no problem with the service, and never experience long wait

Avoid this place, don't waste your money. Give leftovers from the night before. Had New York Potato. Tasted like Chicken of the sea tuna. They do no refunds, so please don't waste your time. View menu

I went to their location in the Lexington Market. The food was AMAZING. The serving size is large so it lasted for 2 meals. I ordered the Japanese potato and a half and half. The drink was a sweet slushy. I enjoyed it.

I like the restaurant. My food was cold but likely because it was late. I was also missing an entree. My bag was open and the seal broken so the restaurant may have place the food in the bag, not sure why the bag was open.

The food was good and on point I only gave 3 stars for the simply fact they didn't give me my Pineapple lemonade if they have gave me that I would've gave a 5 star.. hopefully next time they will make sure I have my drink as well. View menu

My order was very late. They didn't have one of the items I requested but didn't bother to notify me/grubhub, rather they wrote it on my bag. The food was very tasty but my shrimps still had tail on and there wasn't a single onion on my potato even though it was listed as one of the main ingredients. Very disappointed.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
