"We like to go to Saegertown for a day trip of fun along the creek. Finally decided to try the Factory Restaurant while there. It looks small from the outside a big antique store is next door. But when you open that door you'll be surprised. Big space, tables are spaced widely apart from nearby rows. We liked what we got so much, my husband who doesn't like chicken at home, two both the grilled and the breaded version (with provolone and really good bacon) home with him. A week later, we brought a friend to try it out. Their potato salad was so good, we took some of that home too. It's yellow, but not mustardy, and not pickle tasting, so we took some of that home too! I would love to get a breakfast, but won't get up that early to drive down there."

The Factory Restaurant has officially moved to 201 Main Street in Saegertown, next to H H Market and the Pharmacy. I didn't know what to expect from this place when I first went but I was pleased with my breakfast. The steak, home fries, and eggs were seasoned well and the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The coffee was also good and was refilled on a regular basis. The wait staff was also friendly.

"Would easily be a 5 star place if the prices or specials were a bit better. Love the ambiance, great bar! Amazing carved wood, rustic vibe, super comfortable barstools- literally primo barstools. lol felt like a Mercedes Benz interior seat. Nice huge TVs. Good sound. Ashlee the bartender was pleasant and attentive/friendly. 10 wings at market price were $17.99 I think. Which to me is super expensive for a local bar. The cheapest chicken sandwich was $12+ $2 for fries instead of chips. Chicken breast seemed a bit cold or not too hot. Tenders were standard. Fries were good. The pretzel appetizer was banging! Beer cheese was delicious! Best I ever had and YUGE! Yuenling $4 bottle of fat tire $5. So beer prices don’t seem bad. My best recommendation is to have a burger special night and you need a beer bottle or can list. There’s an ample selection but no menu or list. Also, you can’t have premium prices and Mayo PACKETS. No dude. No. Overall a beautiful bar with great comfort and ambiance but IMO pricey food for the Saegertown market. Thursday night wing special. Talked to the owner manager, he mentioned specials, seems like their doing well for themselves as the own the saloon place as well. Def recommend updating your Facebook or website with weekly specials and or updated menu as it was hard to find info on. (I’m a freelance marketer- lmk if I can help ya grow. cheers"

"I 'll just start by saying that I have Celiac disease and wanted to check this place out as I 'd heard that they had gluten free options. I did not disclose this to anyone, as I shouldn 't have to talk about my disease, especially when the menu seemed to point out GF options. I also don 't seem to have a problem with shared equipment with my food preparation, so I just choose from menus based on what I know is naturally gluten free or is specified. I ordered Buckwheat waffles (specified GF on the menu), seasoned home FRIED potatoes, and bacon. We get the food and the waffle was just straight-up cold. Butter didn 't melt on it at all. I ate half. I 'm eating these potatoes and I start to realize there 's like, a crust on them, and little fried pieces of non-potato. We ask the waitress if these potatoes have something on them and were informed they were tossed in flour, salt, and pepper!!! I have never in my life seen home fried potatoes with ANYTHING but seasonings and oil. I was horrified as I 'd already eaten half of them. I thankfully pointed this out to my mother who also has Celiac and had also gotten the potatoes. If you want to tout about having gluten free options, you need to make a separate gluten free menu on it 's OWN or mark whether each item is GF. I never would have guessed that fried breakfast potatoes would be anything but POTATO! Looking at this menu, is the FRIED in all capital letters supposed to indicate something? It 's a shame because the atmosphere is amazing and it smells great in there. But, a quick glace at the menu should be simple. A misunderstanding, yes. But, like I said, I shouldn 't have to come into a restaurant and let everyone know I have a disease and need walked through the menu. We don 't want to be made to feel like we need help to eat. There was a mini-menu on the table that showed alternatives, but it wasn 't like a menu for ordering a full meal. I feel like a separate sub-menu somewhere on the regular menu would solve this problem. This menu needs work."
