"This charming little hidden gem eventually transforms into a lounge. The food is outstanding. We tried the Redfish Po' Boy, Wels Po' Boy, Speck Burger, black catfish, loaded potato, and hush puppies. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The fish in the sandwiches was perfectly cooked, and the burgers were large and cooked to perfection. We were visiting family in Texas City and chose to drive 20 minutes for the fish, and we were not disappointed. In fact, this could become our new family spot whenever we're in town."

Local business! Family owned and run. First time in. Ordered stuffed redfish dinner with garlic cream pasta. Portion size was enough for 2 meals so I ate the rest the next day. Seasoned well. Fried okra was good! My Mom liked her fried Catfish. We both agreed we would order from here again.

Fishfield is great. All we ordered from there was the bomb! The staff is friendly and humble. Very helpful for questions. My favorite page code is the Red Beans and Rice. The Tuscan potatoes are coming! All seafoods are on the point, but also try the ribs! OMG died. Great portions too. Every time we stop at Galveston for a weekend getaway, we need to visit Fish Place!

the place is at a very stranded location so its kinda creepy but the vibe in the restaurant itself is very welcoming. There only so little waiters so it took a while for the waiters to come ask about our orders. It took like 15 minutes for the food to finally get there but the wait time is worth it. The food was definitely good. its not too expensive and the pices rang from $3-$35

HOLD THE PHONE FOLKS... This place should be put on your Bucket list when your in the area. Especially if your in the mood for Gumbo. This was our first time here and I am here to share that the Shrimp Gumbo is the BEST I have found anywhere around the area INCLUDING the Gumbo places on the island. The service was EXCELLENT as well and the waitress was rite on time with anything we needed and drink refills. Give them a try. You WILL NOT be disappointed.
