"Our Innkeepers Steve Joy are wonderful hosts. When we drove in and were gathering our suitcases, we thought we would need two trips knowing our room was on the second floor. Steve appeared to be going for a walk but stopped and helped us take everything in one trip. In the lobby when we checked in, Steve provided us with all the rules of the B B efficiently and friendly. From the minute we walked in it was obvious that the B B was charming and clean. Steve shared the history of the inn of the original owners as well as his own. Our room was small but to be expected in a home with this many rooms and our bathroom was generous. Lots of pillows ..snowy white linens and charming. Our headboard was a repurposed antique door. The food was amazing. the eggs were cooked perfectly by Steve, and the scones Joy made melted in your mouth. Jen had the pancakes and said they were wonderful. A lovely fruit tray was included along with great coffee. Social distancing, mask wearing, and respect for their guests were very apparent. We especially appreciated that in this time of Covid. We are hoping to go back and stay longer."

I stayed at Frogtown Inn while in town working as a photographer for a wedding at Skytop Lodge. I was greeted warmly at the door by Joy for my late 9:30pm check-in. She was very kind, welcoming, and had great recommendations though my stay was very short. My room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and kept me full all day for my trip home. Thank you Joy and Steve for a wonderful stay on my business trip. I will be back again!

My husband and I just returned this morning from a brief two-night getaway after the loss of our beloved pet. We were warmly welcomed by Mark, and I can only say that we can't wait to return! The location is fantastic, with hiking trails in Promiseland State Park and plenty of activities to enjoy. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, and the food was delicious. We especially loved the charming porch with rocking chairs. We truly adore this area!

Last night, I experienced a minor car accident just a few miles from the Frogtown Inn. I called the Inn, and they answered immediately. The owner came to pick me up since I couldn't arrange for a tow due to the bad weather. My stay there was absolutely delightful, and I was welcomed with kindness and comfort. I definitely plan to return for a proper visit with my girlfriend. The rooms were warm, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic. I truly felt at home and am incredibly grateful for the pickup service, as I would have had to sleep in my car during the snowstorm. Thank you so much! For anyone considering a getaway, Frogtown Inn is the perfect place to book! View menu

Steve and Joy run the inn with love. We enjoyed ourselves so much for our romantic getaway last month that we had to return with our children, who also had a great time. The house, which is in the middle of all our favourite Pocono attractions, is beautifully decorated with nostalgic pieces of the original structure (including pictures that are framed with the original window panes), and kept in tip top shape. Steve and Joy are friendly and treated all the other guests and us like family. They even provide a breakfast that tops any breakfast we've ever received as part of a b&b or hotel stay by far. We heard Steve and Joy might be retiring and if it's true, we hope the next owners treat us h...

My boyfriend and I stayed in the King Suite for a wedding this past weekend, and I honestly just wanted to move in and never leave! This room had 1.5 bathrooms, a king size bed, a pullout couch, another seat, a coffee table and a tv in both the “living area” and bedroom. It was also incredibly clean to the point that I didn’t feel the need to break out my emergency Clorox wipes I always carry with me due to COVID. The innkeepers, Joy and Steve, are the sweetest couple you will ever meet! They were always so full of energy and happiness, that you just felt that energy and happiness just by being around them. And the breakfast, WOW. I had their world famous banana macadamia nut pancakes one mo...

"It had been many years since I was last at Skytop, but we decided to drive there for dinner one cold winter's night. The dining room had been renovated with new comfortable chairs, but the lights were too bring and the renovation choices made the setting, which used to feel like the first class dining room on the Titanic, feel more like being on a modern cruise ship. The real problem was when the alt rock cover band started playing in the lobby and overwhelmed the classical/light jazz that was still playing in the dining room. They finally closed the doors (though we got up twice to do so that night despite being 30-40 feet from the main door). Every time the door did open it was like a wave until the doors closed and it reseeded back to a strong undertow. Don't get me wrong I like Coldplay as much as I like Coltrane I just don't want hear both at the same time. The menu was not that extensive especially considering a few ingredients seem to dominate multiple dishes. The salads were good with large portions served in even larger bowls. The risotto was gluey and comprised of inconsistently cooked arborio overall lacking in depth of flavor. At $100+ per person (we didnt drink much since we were not staying over and they didnt really try to have us order more) we were expecting a better experience and meal. The staff were very friendly and attentive, but glasses (including water) were left empty on the table for a long time. It's hard to not write a great review because it is clear they are trying; though it seems like they don't know if they are trying to be an elegant, fine dining setting or something trendy. Unfortunately trying to be both 1930s and 2020s results in it feeling more like the mid 1990s. Where they have succeeded, is the lobby and bar which were renovated since the last visit as well, but retained the old elegance and charm with restored fireplaces, and comfortable seating. Next time I think we would just go for drinks."
