"This is the second time this week that I have had dinner at the Town Grill while on vacation, despite the competition. The prepared fish (Frances) was excellent. The side salad was a healthy size. Try the fried zucchini also excellent. The staff is extremely polite and well trained. They are attentive, respectful, and they repeatedly inquire if everything is okay. John the owner is friendly and listens to what his customers are saying. The atmosphere is very clean and inviting. "We love dining at Poached Pear. This restaurant is our go-to whenever we want a great meal because we know it will be good. Although the specials sounded great, we had the halibut and veal entrees. Excellent as usual! We will continue to dine at this great little bistro."

"I have to be honest: while staying at Point Pleasant Beach with my family, they headed out to the Boardwalk for a meal. Meanwhile, I was sticking to a strict diet of protein and vegetables, which made it challenging to find something to eat in the area. While at the hotel, I discovered this restaurant on DoorDash. I thought I’d give it a try, so I customized my own salad, adding some chicken, avocado, and other acceptable ingredients, and chose a Sriracha dressing. The total came to about $17 with tax, and I expected a small serving since it's beachside and prices tend to be inflated. To my surprise, the salad was quite large and honestly one of the best I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve been around since the early 80s! It was an excellent salad for an excellent price. If I could give this place a score of 10, I would, but unfortunately, I can only select five stars."

"My family and I love JL?s food! It?s always fresh and delicious. We love that they offer a slew of food varieties and gluten free options. They also have tasty deserts, dressings, cheese and so much more. We love the atmosphere and are so happy theyopened a new location closer to us in Manasquan. Everyone who works at each location are always so friendly, welcoming and seemto be happy employees. "The restaurant's exterior has finally been cleaned up and now has a great new look. Inside, the decor has a country motif with many tchotchkes. The menu is quite extensive and could benefit from a POS system to identify which items aren't selling well. This would help streamline the menu and potentially increase the number of diners served each day. The portion sizes are generous, with many customers likely only eating half of their meal. While the food tasted good, there was a noticeable amount of waste. Despite this, the service was excellent. However, there was a delay in bringing out the main dishes, so it would be helpful to have something served earlier in the meal."
