"My youngest son, who is 6, was thrilled to find a sushi menu and quickly devoured his spicy California roll. My oldest son enjoyed the southern filet wrap, declaring it amazing. I opted for the veggie burger, while someone else in our group delighted in the ahi tuna hoagie, which they were able to customize with a gluten-free bun. For appetizers, we shared the buffalo cauliflower bites and crab cake bites, both of which were delicious. We chose to sit inside the restaurant, but both the indoor bar area and outdoor patio looked inviting as well. We arrived around 6 PM on a Saturday and were seated right away, but the place did get busier later on, so I would recommend making a reservation for peak hours. Overall, Lakehouse is definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Culver at the lake or visiting the academy!"

Horrible service. There were No apologies for their disfunction. 2 hours to get food. Just trying to feed our children before an event, but they had to go hungry because the kitchen was so slow. View menu

We took a drive and found this grille. Everything was so delicious! I loved the French Onion Soup as well as the firecracker shrimp appetizer. Our friends got the fish and chips and they said it was cooked just right. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend! We sat in the bar and they had several tv's to watch and bathrooms were clean.

This was recommended to us by a local. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing but our food was very bland. The ambience is great. You can look out the window at the lake. The service was just mediocre. It's more laid-back and very lax. So if you're in a hurry, this is not your spot. I will try them again when I'm in the northern part of the state. I never like to base my opinion solely on one visit.

The food was mostly very good, the sushi really hit the spot, though a couple people with me said the tenderloin was a bit tough. I was told the BLT was very good with lots of bacon. The Reuben had lots of meat. The service was good, they checked on us often, and the food came out at a pretty average rate all at once. We tried the seafood bisque, wedge salad, and the Reuben with fries, and we were truly impressed by everything. The bisque came in a generous bowl and was bursting with flavor. The wedge salad was enormous—great for sharing—with crispy bacon, plenty of tomatoes, and a delicious blue cheese dressing. I highly recommend it! However, the real highlight was the Reuben. I would drive back just for that sandwich! It featured slow-roasted corned beef, which was incredible. It came with extra thousand island dressing on the side and crispy fries. Absolutely outstanding!

Growing up, the Lake House was always a go-to spot for special occasions, but recently it's been quite inconsistent. We made reservations for a Friday night, only to find that they probably weren't necessary since half of the restaurant was empty. We were seated near the hostess stand. Our waitress took our drink orders, but it took over 20 minutes to receive our two beers and a glass of wine. After that, we waited another 40 minutes for our food to arrive.
