It was delicious, especially the lemon rice. The wait time was reasonable as well. What impressed me the most was the cleanliness of the establishment. It was neat and tidy, and the decor and atmosphere were fantastic. It felt incredibly cozy with great color schemes. This is a place where you can relax and feel at home; it didn't have the typical restaurant vibe, but rather felt more like a family gathering spot."

Lemon rice is to die for. They have a really yummy vegetarian option (seasoned tofu) that they don’t mention online, but they have on their takeout menu. I’ve also had their mixed meat gyro and the flavor was just on point. I recommend this place for meateaters and vegetarians alike.

The Local Greek did not disappoint!! We had the opportunity to go visit on the first and day I can't wait to go back. The food was delicious and the portions were great! I tried out the new Taylorsville location and was very pleased with everything we ordered. The fried feta as a vegetarian option is absolutely fantastic. The gyro meat was a bit saltier than I'd usually like, but overall, it was a solid spread. Also, don’t underestimate the size of the "side" salad that came with it—it's quite generous!

I was thrilled to discover a new Greek restaurant near my workplace, and I tried it today—I am definitely not disappointed! The lamb is amazing. The side salad is large and incredibly fresh, and the hummus and pita are also fantastic. They included fries in the dish, which I found to be an interesting twist, and it made the meal even better! I will certainly be returning.

I went to Greece in June so was craving authentic Greek food. The Local Greek in Taylorsville was just what I wanted. Inside the restaurant is so aesthetically pleasing. Felt like I took a step back into Greece. The ambiance is a whole vibe. The food was the cherry on top. I got the Greek salad, french fry bowl, Loukumades, and Greek coffee. It was amazing and tasted fresh. Portion size was too much for one person so bring someone to share with or enjoy the leftovers later. The owner was really nice, too.
