Clean, quiet, comfortable. Had lunch on a weekday. Pattymelt was excellent, seasoned fries were very good. My wife had the ham club and said it was good.

My husband I enjoyed for dinner today. The food was delicious portions were great service was quickly very nice! We will certainly eat here again! Thank you.

I wish I had made a photo of the baked tenderoin and spiced pommes. I was able to eat half the potter there and brought the other half home and left another whole sandwich with one piece to share with my pampered doggies. Definitely worth the visit. Everything on the menu is delicious, great portions, cooked to order, quick for short lunches, daily specials, supports community events, convenient location, friendly staff. Parking: Front parking fills up fast, more parking available in the back through the pocket park with fountain. Wheelchair accessibility: Tables are spaced out with plenty of room for wheelchairs, walkers, and most mobile assistance devices.

The palace is an excellent small institution that has a unique feeling that captures the real feeling of a retro dinner. It is a Shotgun style building, so seat capacity is a little limited with the emphasis really on the bar side of things. The Cheeseburger I got was really very tasty, and the speed was too terrible, although a little on the slower side. Expect about 20-30 minutes waiting time is what we found out. Our waitress was a little absent from us, but we sat a table and not at the bar where it seems that the focus is mainly. Overall a cool atmosphere and decent food for a mother and pop shop. I'd go back if I were looking for a little place to eat in the area.

This is an old school diner place that focuses on breakfast and they do it well. Set in the square of downtown Princeton, The Palace Cafe offers that retro fell of a 50's 60's diner where the food is made from quality ingredients and cooked to order. You can expect your food to be hot and your service to be warm and friendly. The prices on their meal are actually some of the best I have seen and you can get your belly extremely full for a price that is not going to hit the pocket book.
