"There is live music with no cover which is un heard of but I guess they make their money at the bar. Which brings me to the horrible service at the bar. There is a female bar tender who is rude nasty and her drinks are not what you request, it was wierd. They are a busy bar and I get it. But her nasty attitude was not neccesary. Then when you let one of the guys at the bar know that she snubbed you for no reason he can do nothing. So I could come her for the music and the pizza, but its a bar for goodness sake. ? Needless to say I will not be back. Its not very diverse either maybe that is the reason I received really bad service. I guess I will never find out."

I've loved this place for 23 years. It can be a bit expensive, but the music is always outstanding, and the service is great.

Was just looking for an off the beaten path place to go. Was very inviting and the bartender was very nice. Thank you for a nice place to get off the bikes and cool down. View menu

I'm not entirely convinced I wanted to write this review, but I feel compelled to share my thoughts. This place has a genuinely authentic vibe and seems to be where the trendy crowd gathers. Great job!

I went to hear a band and drink a beer. The bar had a designated area to order which was very efficient. The music as too loud and the heat inside and outside was too much for my comfort.I left after the first set.

Fantastic time! The live band Carlos Guerrero and Friends was awesome! We danced, played a very giving poker machine, and spent what we’d spend at our local bar at home. Friendly staff. The pizza looked delicious. 6 stars! View menu

This bar has had so many iconic bands and stars that my wife and I couldn't resist going. Likes of The Rolling Stones, BB King, The Great Satchmo, Jimi Hendrix, and more! Very friendly and good prices on drinks. It's very small and nothing upscale by any means, but it was fun to play pool and listen to the live bands and there is no cover charge. Was a 5 minute walk from The Wyndham Desert Blue.

The service is above any other bar I’ve seen in Vegas (shout out to Joel for making you feel like you’re a regular), the strip included. The drinks are priced the same as your home town bar. The live music, which is free is awesome. The pizza deserves a review in itself. Not flimsy, greasy bar pizza. It’s perfectly crisp, the right amount or sauce, cheese and toppings blended together to create hands down the best pizza I have ever had. I’ve eaten a lot of pizza, from family owned to large chains and this is thee best. Someone get Dave Portnoy @stoolpresidente in here to give it a solid high score! Thanks for the hospitality guys?

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
