"This casual corner spot is perfect for when you're in the mood for Asian cuisine but can't quite decide on a specific country's kitchen. The interior is cleverly designed with a few outside tables available. The Laksa noodle soup is surprisingly authentic, especially since other dishes like knights are also featured on the menu. This restaurant is ideal for lunch, a weekend dinner, or a casual first date."

I got the salmon and it was great. Came on a sunday early evening and it was very quiet, not busy. The service was great too!

First time trying The Spice Bar and it was delicious! We ordered the calamari salad, garlic noodles, and the tempura Brussel sprouts. The flavors in every dish were perfect.

Fantastic and reasonably priced for San Francisco, even in a post-pandemic world of inflation. The chicken katsu was incredibly tender, and the curry sauce had just the right amount of seasoning. View menu

Delicious Asian fusion comfort foods. Pork belly baos were out of this world; crispy calamari salad was excellent; and chicken and shrimp laska noodle soup; and 7 spices salmon was just okay, a little on the dry side.

Homemish atmosphere with delicious Asian Californian fusion. Generous portions, very nice service, and good value. Lovely broccoli tempura, great calamari salad, and Mongolian beef wok. Pork ramen was closer to Malaysia style, just sadly with hard boiled eggs.

The food at this restaurant is cooked with ample oil, but the dishes are delicious. I opted for a vegetable dish and was impressed with the variety of spices available, even though I couldn't quite pinpoint them all. The portion sizes are just right and the prices are reasonable. View menu

We absolutely adore this restaurant and order from it multiple times a week. Our favorites are the garlic green beans, hanger steak mushu, and calamari salad. The food is always fresh, travels well, and the flavors are fantastic. Overall, we give it a perfect score of 5/5 for the food.

I made a dinner with my Hubby after which we were looking for a few months ago. Best customer service I experienced in a while. The food is fresh and delicious. Please try the dishes of the house you will not regret. Will recommend this beautiful place in the mission district to anyone who wants to taste a good spicy Asian cuisine. Thank you. Spicy Jar for my date... Unique!

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
