"We visited this restaurant over Labor Day weekend. It was my first time there, but my partner has been multiple times and raves about the BBQ Chicken Flatbread. The special menu offered some fantastic selections, including a spicy bacon deviled egg appetizer that we decided to try. It was delicious! They were out of Prime Rib, but considering it was nearly 8 PM, I can’t complain too much. I ordered the teriyaki steak bites with mashed potatoes and green beans, while my partner went with the Flatbread, as usual. Our meals were excellent! The facilities were clean, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. There was a live band playing, which sounded great, though it was a bit loud due to the restaurant's open layout. We will definitely return when we're in the area again."

I discovered spit and hair in my food, which was completely unacceptable. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant; it was the worst experience. To make matters worse, the staff yelled at my son for not wanting to eat anything.

The beer was enjoyable, but the service left much to be desired. The potato skins were topped with processed cheese similar to what you’d find at a gas station, and it tasted off—almost rancid—and the cheese just slid right off. I’ve had better experiences here in the past.

We enjoy coming to Tavern on Central. There are so many choices on the menu. The best French onion soup. I also love the fish tacos and Gorgonzola and fig flatbread. Very busy on Saturday nights and staff always stays friendly. Prices are reasonable. Such a great neighborhood restaurant.
