"The Third Place has a nice, authentic atmosphere. I used to hang out here before/after yoga classes at the yoga school upstairs. The coffee is great. Vegan baked goods available! And very friendly staff. Sometimes they get pretty busy, but it's a nice place to hang out while you wait for your order."

We enjoyed a great breakfast here. They also had oat milk, which is a nice with coffee. They also would do custom orders. We enjoyed having some avocado on a toasted bagel.

We had a fantastic breakfast here. They offered milk, which complemented the coffee nicely. They are also open to custom orders. We particularly enjoyed the avocado on a toasted bagel.

cool place for vegan latte or try her rooibos latte. too many fly outside and smokers need to respect other eating. I'm going back for the latte, but I'm not going to sit, atmosphere has gone over the years.

I love this place and the people who work there. They regularly have vegan muffins and other vegan food options. They carry naked juices (or maybe Odwalla) for smoothies. Their coffee/espresso is OUT OF THIS WORLD too.

The Third Place Cafe offers some refuge in a city that is disappointing in terms of its vegetarian/vegan offerings. Food is good and reasonably priced. The vibe is relaxed. Ate there a few times during visit to the area. Can be tough to find a seat.

The Place may be more suitable as a coffee shop than a spot for a great meal. I've consistently had good service during my visits. Their coffee is definitely a highlight. You can relax for a few hours without any pressure, although seating can sometimes get busy. View menu

I absolutely adore this restaurant and the staff who work there. They offer a great selection of regular vegan muffins and other delicious vegan options. They also have Naked juices (or possibly Odwalla) for smoothies. Plus, her coffee and espresso are truly exceptional!

"I've been to the new Irregardless twice now. Once for a rather disappointing late brunch and a second time for a fabulous welcome back to town dinner. Their prices have definitely risen to The point where I won't be able to visit as much as I used to (and they also don't know what Eastern versus Western BBQ is, but I won't hold that against them). They're very conscious about vegan options and the dishes are still as high quality as I remember them being under the old management. Disappointed not to see any Raleigh brewing on the draft menu but the drink menu was very good. I got the most expensive vegan option of course. A North Carolina BBQ prepared maitake mushroom on mashed potatoes with a gorgeous, perfect amount of broccoli. Now the fiction kitchen has an Eastern BBQ plate which I love So I was very surprised when it showed up with a ketchup/tomato-based sauce. It was delicious Even though it was a western NC style barbecue sauce. Haha (My mom got the salmon The time blackberry cheesecake was divine. I hope they keep that one around because I'm definitely coming back for another slice. I'm happy to report that the staff are excellent, warm, friendly, and professional. Our waitress was friendly and delighted to answer all of our questions since we hadn't been for dinner yet. Brunch, the music was a little loud and by the time we actually got a table they were out of everything we wanted to order which is a little disappointing and speaks to poor planning. We did get was small but delicious. Not sure I would try brunch again unless I was really hankering for their brunch specifically and if so I would get a reservation a week ahead of time. As a person who's gone to this specific restaurant for over 2/3 of their life, I'm just glad that it's still exists and is in such good hands. I just hope they read up a little bit more on barbecue in North Carolina. And make more vegan things"
