"This restaurant serves fantastic burgers that are truly deserving of any food enthusiast's attention, capturing the spirit of a classic roadhouse. The location is extremely convenient, just off the I-70 highway. The staff was friendly and accommodating, having our takeout order ready in only 10 minutes. We tried the Gold Rush burger, which had a juicy patty on a brioche bun, topped with bacon, avocado, and chipotle mayo, all expertly assembled and presented. The truffle fries were the highlight of the meal—perfectly crispy, salty, and infused with a delightful truffle flavor, cut to a nice medium size. The only suggestion I would make for improvement is to offer extra chipotle mayo on the side!"

This is the rudest establishment I have ever been in. Wow!

This is the ideal spot to stop when traffic on Highway 70 is congested! Although the food takes a while to arrive, it's definitely worth the wait!

I absolutely love this place! They have the best green chili I've ever had. The service is excellent, and it’s always worth the wait—good things take time!

On a positive note, the staff was friendly, but it felt odd to have a dog wandering around while I was eating. I'm not sure if that's even allowed by health regulations. Overall, I didn't find a compelling reason to return, but I hope they can improve their food quality in the future. View menu

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is amazing, and the owner, Matt, is extremely friendly and welcoming. I genuinely believe this place has a promising future! The green chili is outstanding, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for dining. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience!

This is a fantastic spot to visit on your way to the slopes! Every time we go, we're impressed by the excellent customer service and the great music. On weekends, they offer breakfast burritos (wraps) to go, which are delicious. We're thinking about stopping by during the Super Bowl, as they have several flat-screen TVs for watching the game. Looking forward to it!

A hidden gem! I live in Aurora and make the effort to drive to the Tributary at 244 several times a month because their tamales and award-winning green chili are absolutely worth it. The place is simple and it can take a bit of time to get your food, but good things take time, right? Be sure to order the 14'r **** mary—it's fantastic! The dogs at the restaurant took me by surprise at first, but they are service dogs who are friendly and don't cause any trouble. I truly love this place! View menu

Wow... My husband and I ordered a quesadilla just so we could use the bathroom, and it took them 50 minutes to serve it to us! There were hardly any customers in the restaurant, so I just don’t understand why it took so long. I could see if it were really busy, but it wasn’t! For our meal—a single quesadilla, a small glass of terrible old wine, and two glasses of instant tea—the total came to $20.60! I will never return! If you must stop here to use the restroom, I suggest just buying a Gatorade at the front desk and going. This experience was ridiculous!

Upon our arrival, we encountered a scruffy dog that belonged to the owner. The owner himself was rather arrogant and refused to allow me, as a pregnant woman, to use his precious restroom, which he clearly holds dear. He has 13 signs indicating that it is reserved for paying customers only. While I could understand his protectiveness if there were issues with homelessness in the area, we were actually in a remote location. Instead of providing a reasonable alternative, he suggested to my husband that I use the restroom across the street—essentially on the side of the road. This behavior was entirely unacceptable.

"I'm not sure how we've never been here. Main Street Restaurant has what I think is the best breakfast place in Idaho Springs. They have a huge selection of Benedict's and omelettes. I would say it was larger than any other restaurant I've seen, and they have even married the two into a benedict omelette, which my wife ordered. There are honestly a lot of places to eat in Idaho Springs, but this is going to the top of my list. The service was great and there was seating on New Years Day. I ordered the Hash Benedict, so instead of the traditional Canadian bacon, there's corned beef hash. Which is an amalgam of two of my favorite breakfasts. And it was great. I couldn't finish it all because I partied a little too hard on New Years Eve, but it even reheated well. The Benedict Omelette was also very good. There was diced Canadian bacon, onions and hollandaise sauce in the omelette. It came with a slice of toast and some homefries. It was a large meal. We overheard another waiter mention that you HAVE to get the bacon, and I agree. Unless you're a vegetarian, get the bacon. It's thick sliced and delicious. I'm more of a sausage guy, but this bacon was good. I'd highly recommend MSR if you can find parking and you are hungry for breakfast. This is a GREAT local gem with great food. Don't tell all your friends though. I want to still be able to get a seat when I'm rolling through!"
