"Would recommend for axe throwing, but not for hanging out. Axe throwing was pretty fun and our coach was really cool. After the axes, our group wanted to move to a table but was only a small table open. Some people were blocking the seats at a nearby table which is annoying, but understandable because there is not that much seating and people know it. On top not having a useable table, we were surprised and annoyed by the $10 cake fee. There was confusion if we had already paid for it or not, but you'd think after spending a few hundred dollars on axe throwing there wouldn't be a need to nickel-dime. Looking on the website this morning, it sounds like we should have been able to pay $20 each instead of 25 because we were >10 people. Also the FAQ says store-bought cake is allowed, but it doesn't mention the cake fee. Very unimpressed with about lack of clarity and poor handling of billing. Clear expectations about the limited seating would have also helped us plan better. The music and environment was also very loud."

Good food and drinks, but in my opinion the BEST things about The Lumberjack is the ATMOSPHERE AND FUN! So great to have somewhere in town to actually ?DO? something!!! Go throw axes and play games with your friends and family!

Went in the other weekend with a few friends and Court was the best. Super attentive and friendly. Don't think any of us ever had an empty beverage.Good food and beer selection was very nice. Even had a few wine selections that weren't too shabby

Went for an AX throwing birthday party on St. Patrick’s day and had SO MUCH FUN! The staff was super helpful with the less experienced people, and so friendly. The drinks were amazing, and bonus it was happy hour (5-6pm) so that was a fun bonus as well! Highly recommend. Parking is rough, but there is a ramp a couple blocks up and it was only $3 for parking. Well worth it. View menu

Classic speakeasy vibes and great drinks here! Service was efficient and friendly too. I really appreciate that they have mocktail options on the menu. I can’t find a list of mocktails on their website, but I ordered a drink called something like “the odery”. It was sweet and spicy and quite refreshing. The ambiance was lovely, and I liked how spacious it was. It was pretty quiet when we got there, but I can imagine the vibes are impeccable when the room is buzzing and live music is happening. I’d love to come back when it’s busier.

I opted for the Secret Garden sandwich and a bowl of Tomato Soup, which arrived just after the set, perfectly timed so we could enjoy our meals while watching the next performance. The sandwich was beautifully crafted and presented, with fresh and flavorful ingredients expertly arranged to create a delightful combination of textures. The soup pleasantly surprised me with its generous serving and attractive presentation, complete with toasted ends for dipping. I savored every last drop. Overall, this place is a fantastic spot for enjoying a show and a meal. Even when there isn’t an event happening, it would be a great place for a night out, a gathering, or simply to enjoy drinks and food.

"I love this place!! However, the last few times I went the staff are younger and not as attentive…I am sitting here currently alone on 10/3/22 and it’s 8pm listening to Kennedy. I was here the other night when Val Gladden was here. Both nights had lots of people outside but not so many inside. I am not sure how long I have been waiting but I had to approach a young lady with long hair to request my order be taken…she said awkwardly “oh, well what do you want?”. I just asked that when she gets a moment would someone please come to take my order. It took quite awhile for a young man to come over. Pleasantly, he recalled what I had the other day so that was a nice touch. I had to ask for a menu that had the actual menu inside…but it was ok. We laughed about it. I requested #17 and it proceeded to take a long time for it to arrive. The food is always amazing. I think it’s just an all new very young and inexperienced crew. Hopefully these kids will learn and be able to keep the standard that Zannoti’s is used too. We are losing amazing places left and right in this town and I don’t want people to bail on this place just because the kids are in the process of learning. I know that the owners take great care and love their little joint. I think whomever is training needs to make sure that the new staff knows how to address guests with smiles and care. They need to make sure to make contact within 60 seconds to at least greet and get them water or to say it will be a moment. I love this place and these kids are all sweet but need time to learn!!! Have patience with them!!"
