"Wandering travelers to the area found amazing hidden gem. My family and I stumbled upon this cozy local bar for a meal on the road and loved the food, the locals and the place. Small but comfortable bar is well maintained hard woods. The bathrooms are super clean and the buffallo chicken dip is awesome. They make their own dressings , not runny stuff by the gallon here. Also poutine with pimento sauce in it . Check it out you won't be disappointed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

We always love going to the Mule! Food is always great, fun people, great service! Had the chicken and chorizo tacos and the Ding Dong burger. This burger will grow on you big time!! ?

Hopefully I just chose a bad night to try the Thirsty Mule. I am usually alone and like to sit at the bar, there were no seats at the bar. A group of men at the bar were so loud, obnoxious, and clearly drunk. They must’ve thought the rest of the people eating dinner were amused by their very loud/rude conversation. They had an unexpected late opening today. (Supposed to open at Noon and instead opened at 2pm). The roast beef sandwich was very good! I added the mushrooms and onions, it was great. The Server Allie was also very nice. This review would have been 5 Stars except they charged me $1.75 for hot sauce! It was a tiny plastic cup of Franks. I had asked for “any hot sauce except Tabasco.” Who charges for condiments? Makes me wonder if they charge extra for catchup too?
