"Very good breakfast but not as good as I’d hoped. We had a late breakfast today and I wanted to try this place based on the great reviews. I will start with the positives. We were seated immediately and our server was extraordinarily prompt, thorough and friendly. My wife had the Kiss My Grits platter and really loved it. I had the pancake plate with scrambled eggs and bacon it was divine. On the negative side the restaurant doesn’t seem super clean. I think they do the basics but the bathroom walls were dirty, there were a few napkins on the restaurant floor and I stepped on crayons under the table when I sat down. I also noticed they use cracked/chipped coffee mugs to hold the creamer and butter. Why? They also didn’t clean the coffee maker well before they made the tea. It wasn’t awful but that bitter taste was definitely present in what otherwise would have been excellent tea. Let’s talk about the multigrain biscuit. I’m not sure who came up with this culinary Frankenbakery nonsense but it needs to go and what’s worse is that it’s the only biscuit they offer. It’s dry, bland and makes me sad that people actually make it from scratch. I will definitely be back now that I know what to avoid and hope they were just have an off day with the cleaning."

Had the feel and Atmosphere of a Diner. Was absolutely filling and delicious. The Shrimp and grits were amazing and makes you full fast. Highly recommend for a great feast. I wish I found this place sooner.

10am on Sunday the place was filled, and rightly so! Skillets, pancakes, bagels, biscuits, sandwiches more plus an incredible looking french toast that I'll definitely go back for. Good food, good service, great spot.

Went for brunch to celebrate a birthday. The food was delicious. I got the chicken and waffles and enjoyed it. Took away 1 star because our server seemed overwhelmed and we had problems with our bill. P.S. The chicken came on the side but I placed it on top for the picture. View menu

I love Thumbs Up! Unfortunately, they had no smoked chicken wings because of the pandemic. My husband took me there for the 72th birthday because I love the smoked chicken wings. The ride was an hour. I enjoy the breakfast I ordered. French toast are so delicious and the chicken sausage

The food was fantastic. Never had potato salad like that, it did not taste like normal mayonnaise based salad. The burgers are a little bit under seasoned, but all breakfast foods are incredible alternatives. Waiting staff are very attentive and incredibly friendly. If you can't find a car park, do not park next door at the Fanplatz because they can drag you faster than you can eat.

Pros: cheaper than other breakfast places. Breakfast for two consistently comes under $30 after a 20% tip. Breakfast and lunch are delicious. Portions are generous. (If you get the cats, be ready to throw because the thing is huge. The staff is well maintained, friendly and attentive. External seats are simple but pleasant. They also have fans on the terrace and raincovers. Never had a waiting time for more than 15 minutes! Cons: Occasionally, the outdoor seating area is closed. I had to edit my review to include a server AJ who recently offered the best service I have EVER received at Thumbs Up. AJ, thank you for making our recent experience soo special, I needed to add a sentence or two! Keep in mind, the manager Jennifer is a rock star and you can tell that she runs that business like a well oiled machine! Her staff seems to actually like their job and the work ethic of the team makes it unbelievable that many of them are high school and college students. If only every person young and old could learn the value of service! Honestly, I love a good meal but I am more impressed when service and the meal go together like lyrics and music!
