"Excellent food as always and the server (Henry) was terrific. Not too present but readily available if we needed anything. We sat in the downstairs room this time (in the past we have been upstairs with a view) and it was pretty nice. The lighting and atmosphere were romantic. It was a bit loud and there was no view of outside at all but that didn't bother us. The only downside was extremely slow service in the bar while waiting for a table. We had a 15 minute wait and never got to even order a glass of wine. Three people clustered around behind the bar but no service for the tables. Too bad. As expensive as this place is, one would expect better. All in all a good visit. We will likely return."

"I Absolutely love Farinas! The staff are attentive and just delightful (even on days that they are short-staffed they work hard to really give you a great experience). The back patio is dog friendly, I often go and enjoy their WONDERFUL pizza and a glass of wine with my Sheltie. The last time I went (about a month ago) I had the baked whitefish which was fantastic. The inside of the restaurant has a lovely ambiance and is great for date nights. Get reservations for Friday and Saturday nights, other evenings you can usually walk in with a little (15-20 minute) wait."

"We had a wonderful experience at Christina's tonight. It was a Sunday evening, so they had a more limited menu selection, but we both found delicious entrees on it.I had the Greek Grouper. It was a Grape Leaf wrapped Grouper file, nicely spiced with a lemon slice and wrapped in the grape leaves and baked. It was done to perfection! I substituted green beans for the asparagus. The green beans had a nice char on them. The rice was nice and fluffy.My wife had the Lemon Dill Salmon. She asked for it to be cooked to Medium and it turned out perfect! Her Cheese Grits were tasty with a hint of Jalapeño spice. Not too spicy, but very tasty.We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Our server was friendly and helpful with the menu options. This meal was the highlight of our week-long trip thru Texas to visit family. We would definitely come back here, again.Parking: Parking was easy with the free public parking lot across the street surrounding the courthouse."

"My wife and I have been eating here for thirteen years and it's our favorite place in Granbury to eat! Most of the waiting staff are the same people waiting for us in 2004. BY FAR Best Breakfast in Hood County. I will admit that Pam 's is less expensive, but you get more and much better food. The waiting staff is also the best in the city! Never had a bad experience at Fire House. If we have company, the question we get, are we in the firehouse? And I don't know how anyone could confuse Fire House green beans for canned beans."

"The dining experience at Anise was absolutely wonderful. The flavors on each dish were exquisite, with a special surprise being the chilled squash soup with roasted pepitas that really brought the dish together. The pork lemongrass satay was a hit with my friend, who raved about it even after the meal. The lemoncello iced tea and lemoncello spritzer were refreshing and light. The main entree flavors, from the blueberries to the swiss chard to the sweet potato puree, were perfect. However, both my partner and I found the duck dish to be somewhat tough. Despite this, the dishes were amazing thanks to the delicious flavors. The chef and the entire staff at Anise deserve kudos for the warm welcome and exquisite dining experience. Parking is limited but suitable for the venue."
