Great local restaurant. Locally owned and operated. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Spicy honey mustard is awesome. Everything we had was great.

This is a fantastic local gem offering unique and delicious dishes, excellent service, and a lively atmosphere! Even though the owner is a Kentucky fan, he's a good sport!

Amazing food! Great selection of mimosas and bourbon, they offer flights of both so you can try different options. Owners were both working and very friendly, explained the whole menu to us. Glad we made the choice to stop by. We will definitely come back next trip.

This restaurant is simply the best! The staff is incredibly attentive, and Grace, the bartender, is fantastic at crafting delicious drinks. The owner, Nick, has created a wonderful atmosphere, and the chef is extraordinarily talented. The food was perfect! The chef even overheard a conversation and went back to the kitchen just to whip up a special sauce for me without a second thought! This has become our new favorite spot!

We absolutely loved the service and attention our waiter provided, especially since we had my one-year-old granddaughter with us. The two-stack pancakes were enormous and tasted amazing; they were light and fluffy. I had the combo meal with scrambled eggs and sausage, which came with generous portions. ?? hands down the best breakfast spots in NC coast and we are down here at least twice a month between Wilmington and Atlantic beach. Calabash is a secret gem we never knew existed. Great service AJ was our waitress friendly greeting and the food ?????? we had Philly cheese stake omelet and the creamiest grits ever tasted. I?m in love. The amount of meat you get is so satisfying! I can?t eat the same amount I used to after surgery but I tore up 1/4 of the omelet and grits! Shared with my hubby . We most definitely be returning!

Oh my goodness! THAT is one of the best meals in the area! Consider me a regular! The food and service was so outstanding in this place. Even though they had a Labor Day weekend Monday busy day, the owner still found time to come out and sit with us for a moment and tell us about the specials and how he came up with them. And Grace was our waitress and she was just perfect. She knows a lot about that restaurant and the food. We saw several other staff members and they all had smiles. This impressed me because I know darn well they were super busy today! If you're visiting or especially a local, you must consider coming to Calabash for breakfast, lunch or dinner at Toasted! My boyfriend and I just found this place a few weeks ago and we were so excited to try it again. We bragged about it last night to our friends and family and told them they had to try it. We had a long wait the first time we were there but the food was so worth it so we weren’t worried when it took 45 min to seat us. We played games on the phone at the table while we waited, very excited about breakfast. We had gotten a beer and a tea and asked the waitress about another beer. An hour in, we hadn’t received the beer. Both of our drinks had been empty for 30 min at this point and we knew our waitress was doing the best she could and was extremely busy and very sweet.
