"I recently returned because I was craving sushi and didn’t want to drive to Carrollton for my usual spot. It was pretty crowded on a Friday night, but we arrived after the dinner rush, so there wasn’t a long wait. They’ve returned to the buffet style instead of having to order from the server, which was a nice change. The sushi was decent, but it seemed like it had been sitting out for a while, as not many people were taking it. I tried a bit of everything, and while the quality was acceptable, it was what you’d expect from all-you-can-eat sushi. We arrived about 45 minutes before closing, but they were already beginning to clean up the area. My boyfriend was waiting for the chef to restock the inari sushi, but they never did, which was disappointing. They also offer hot pot, but it’s just a plain broth with a counter for vegetables and seafood. They didn’t have any sliced meats, which was a letdown. There is a small menu on the table for items you can order from the server, though I didn’t notice it until the end. It includes options like grilled oysters, eel nigiri, ramen, and soups. However, most of the entrees seemed to have been sitting out for a while and didn’t look very appetizing. I imagine the best time to go is during peak dinner hours if you want fresher food. I do enjoy their dessert bar, which has a nice selection ranging from crème brûlée to fresh fruit. If you want ice cream, you have to ask the server to bring some; they offer red bean, vanilla, and chocolate. It took us quite a while to get hold of a server as it seemed they were understaffed. Even once we did, they forgot half of what we ordered. They currently have an all-you-can-eat crab legs option for $45 on weekends, with a separate area designated for the crab legs. They looked quite large, but since I’m not a fan, we opted for the regular dinner menu at $37. I found the price to be a bit steep for what you get, especially since my boyfriend isn't a sushi lover. It was nice to revisit, but I think I’d prefer to save my money for the all-you-can-eat sushi in Carrollton, which offers a better overall experience for the same price."

Everything was going well until I found a piece of a silver dish scrubber in the shrimp fried rice. I also discovered a hair in the fried rolls, which completely ruined my appetite. I won’t be returning.

Over priced for the quality. The sushi tasted like grocery store sushi. The buffet food was bland. Egg roll was mush on the inside. Not worth it! I wish I could rate negative stars. $70 for two people.. totally feel robbed

I had a fantastic experience overall. The selection of Japanese cuisine is impressive. The quality of the food was decent, but it's definitely a great place if you're looking for a wide range of options or if you're a fan of sashimi. The service and atmosphere were both excellent as well. Food rating: 4/5.

The food at this restaurant is quite fresh and delicious, but they impose a 90-minute time limit on dining. This is quite inconvenient for my family, especially with a young child, as the time constraint detracts from our overall experience. We can't fully savor all the dishes the restaurant offers. I visited this restaurant for dinner on Saturday, which was priced at $36 per person, or $46 with crab legs. Unfortunately, the crab legs were served cold instead of steamed. The overall quality of the food was excellent, although the blue crab did not taste fresh. One thing to note is that soup must be ordered from the server, so there can be a bit of a wait. Despite these drawbacks, it is still a high-quality sushi restaurant. Food rating: 5/5.

Went there day before Mothers Day and lunch was packed. Waited 20 mins before seated which was fine. This place used to be called yellowtail or something similar. The hot food section is much reduced. Ramen, soup and some items you had to ask the server to bring to your table. I asked for ramen, I got udon. It wasnt very good. The quality of the sashimi was also not very good, mostly tasteless slices of fish which i guess is expected for sushi buffets. Not quite the experience of the OG tokyo one in Addison. Those were the days

I've thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant with every visit and highly recommend it. They offer an all-you-can-eat buffet with excellent and friendly table service. The food is of high quality, with a wide variety of dishes and delicious desserts to choose from. The value for the price is reasonable. If you're traveling on I-75, it's conveniently accessible from both Parker Rd and Spring Creek Pkwy. You can get a better sense of accessibility by watching the attached video. As for wheelchair access, the restaurant is wheelchair-friendly from the handicap parking (which has several spots available) and from other areas of the parking lot leading to the entrance. However, please note that there a... View menu

Overrated buffet that is overhyped. We went to this place for Mother’s Day and had to wait for almost 30 minutes to get seated, leaving us less than an hour to get seated and started eating. The buffet is really limited, with buffet items that can be made fresh from ordering (except for order only items: Steamed eggs Lamb Chop). There is one line of hot food, round of cheap fruits, sushi, sashimi, and ramen/udon station. That is about all this buffet has to offer. The Takoyaki is definitely store bought, so is the tempura, sesame ball, and dumplings. The rest of buffet items are only slightly better than cheaper Asian buffet with tiny shrimps added into their fried rice and sesame oil added...

Food is mediocre, the ramen tastes like instant noodles and was served lukewarm. Store-bought sushi is better than what they serve here, their sushi tastes far from fresh. $75 after tax for 2 (34.99/person)??? Not worth it!Don’t expect any sort of decent customer service here because you won’t get any. People in front are super grumpy and act extremely annoyed. We ate and finished our meal so we can get out as fast as we could.WORST PART: the server looked at our receipt as soon as we finished signing it to check how much we tipped. We tipped less than what we normally do at a full-service, sit-down restaurant for obvious reasons. Few minutes later, a different server approached me while my...
