"We arrived on a Tuesday evening around 5pm. Seated at a table almost immediately, it took about 15 minutes to get our drink and our first round of orders out. Service in between orders was lacking for sure, I always felt like I was an after thought. I orders hot saki, and we almost revied our third order. The sushi itself and apps were good starting off, but after the first order I think we received other peoples food. They never even gave an explanation of what the food was. Some of the food items were hand rolls that I distinctly didn't order. For our third order neither of us could eat the food, and we left hungry. It cost too much for receiving too little, so i cannot in good conscience recommend."

best sushi in the city hands down. when they are out of town, there are where all natives come. long waiting times and no reservations, but eating makes it worth it. especially the baked muscles.

Me and 4 friends ordered around 18 rolls, 6 orders of nigiri, and 4 appetizers. Everything came out in a timely manner and the sushi was excellent. Will definitely visit this restaurant again when I am back in town.

When it comes to Reno sushi restaurants, what can I say? Tokio is small, so there may be a wait, but it's worth it. Just be patient or arrive early! The vegetarian section is limited, but every item on it is fantastic, as are the vegan appetizers. View menu

Best sushi place in Reno hands down! The staff is amazing, and their customer service is on point. The sushi is fresh an delicious, and the place has a nice warm, comfortable feel to it! I've tried quite a few other places around Reno, and this one takes the cake! You won't be disappointed... p.s. the Black Angel is my favorite.

Even though we had to wait 40 minutes, the dining experience was fantastic. The service was excellent and we were well taken care of. We had a wonderful time with a large group. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. The sushi was delicious and the prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants I have been to.

Place was packed when I arrived for early dinner, however not an Asian was seen on site… except for head chef. Food was not bad but I had a hard time discerning hamachi vs Saba. No warning signs of must finish food or extra penalty which I thought was good. Calamari was a bit fishy and will report back if I get stomach ache. Good service fast, very reasonable for AYCE. All you can eat!!! First timers in Reno, We definitely recommend this local Sushi spot! Most all you can eat have massive rolls so you get filled fast by eating so much rice. Not here...We loved the quality and miniature rolls sizes because we got to taste alot of the menu. Our favorite was the Hoau roll and the Mickey mouse! Next time we fly into Reno... we have to stop! it's under ten minutes from the airport. -Compie!

I guess this place is just OK compared to AYCE in Vegas. Here the slices of fish are quite small compared to Vegas, just look at the pic I posted. The prices in Vegas are the same! The service at the bar was good, though it was hard to understand the chef with the mask on. The rice was way to grainy, someone need to watch how the rice is made. The salmon was good, but the other fish was the seared tuna were not. This place used to be better.
