"I visited this restaurant on Saturday, December 30th, 2023, and I was truly impressed. The entire place was immaculate; I noticed them cleaning the grill between each batch of cheesesteaks, which was great to see. The food quality was outstanding. We tried the cheesesteaks served on seeded rolls, and they were incredibly fresh. We also had chicken parmesan sandwiches, and the chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while being incredibly tender and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. Additionally, they had a pickled pepper bar, which I’ve never seen elsewhere – a nice old-school touch. I can't wait to go back; it was fantastic!"

Ever since they changed to tony nicks the cheese steaks have not been the same. I do not know why. I tried 3 times. Tonight was my last time :

I had my first Philly Cheesesteak at this place, and it was outstanding! I opted for Cheese Whiz to fully embrace the authentic experience. I highly recommend it! View menu

Was not one of the best but not the worst i believe they just put too many peppers n onions. The staff were friendly. No bad attitude. Inside was clean. Would try them again.

I tried Tony Nicks for the first time, and it was fantastic! The Philly with American cheese was a perfect 10/10. The woman who took my order in the morning was very friendly as well. I highly recommend it!

Cheese steak was OK, cheese was not really melted. Bread was a little stale on a Sunday afternoon. Also had a roast pork sandwich with broccoli raab that was too salty to finish. Not the worst place ever but nothing special. View menu

By no means an expert or local, but we all agreed that this was the best cheesesteak we had during our weekend in Philly. The lady at the register was so sweet. Sesame seed roll was a great addition, and I got a bonus roast pork broc rabe sandwich which was also great.

I was a little nervous because I can't do cheese and my wife had this additional complicated order but they handled it perfectly. The cashier was patient and walked back to talk to the chef. My order came out perfect and the food was good. That's a good steak sandwich. I liked the fries too. The hype was real, I was thoroughly satisfied.

"Fantastic neighborhood gem. Food was flavorful, cozy, inviting, and fun. Not fussy or arrogant, but cooked with love, execution, and straight from the heart. My favorite was the Burrata dish, a cold cheese dish with the seductively sumptuous balsamic glaze and the best thinsliced prosciutto I ever had thankfully not too salty as it was packed with flavor. The bread was fantastic for mopping up the rich tomato based seafood app.My wife and I loved the seafood spaghetti dish, although the dark brown think buckwheat spaghetti surprised us at first. The rich white wine broth and clams were fantastic, but the noodles were perplexing and intriguing and fantastic!. The whole wheat made it seem like it might be tough but it was smooth and chewy, while still hearty. And yet it almost felt too soft and about melt, although there was a firm elasticity to it! The scallops risotto was rich and decadent. Temp was good. The service was good, the outdoor ambience was wonderful, the napkin's bluegray hue resonated with my wife, and the plates were gorgeous.Overall, it was excellent and worthy of going back and recommending to friends and family. The meal may not have been technically flawless the delicious octopus could stand to be grilled or cooked a tad longer, but it was still perfectly authentic, heartfelt, and admirably executed. It straddled the fine line between elevatedelegant and homey. It accomplished what it set out to do and delivered on what one would expect! We live outside the city, so we won't be able to visit often, which may be good, because this is such a fine neighborhood establishment—if I lived nearby, I'd definitely be in danger of blowing my monthly dining budget"
