"The only good thing at this restaurant is the bottle sodas. Here for work, and I am staying in the Airbnb across the street so it’s pretty convenient, considering my husband is not working and there’s no other vehicle.First day, I ordered Chilaquiles which came with potatoes and beans also ordered puffy tacos. Chilaquiles had some kind of cheese nacho sauce over them, and the tortilla chips were drenched in Grease. No seasoning on them. The puffy tacos had hamburger meat with Potatoes, which is not what it said on the menu. Also, no salt.I thought maybe they just weren’t known for their super authentic meals, so went today and decided to get a hamburger.I called in and said “I’d like to place an order”, she put me on hold, and I heard the lady in the background say too bad, speak to them in Spanish” the girl with hesitated and continue to speak to me in Spanish, asking me if I spoke Spanish.(my Spanish is probably just as broken as her English) which was fine she was very sweet we got through it. As I walked in to pay the Apple Pay did not take my payment and the lady who told her not to speak to me in English walked over and told her in Spanish do it again, and I questioned her and said they did not take in English. She ignored me. Then turned around spoke to the customer coming in after me and said in perfect English “hello how are you? What can I do for you today?”I was so angry, and did not even want to order after this, but I came home and was equally disappointed as the day before. I think they use old Greece because the burger taste like Grease, old Grease. The french fries were soggy and not crispy at all. Both times I went. It was empty and around lunchtime. I guess that should’ve spoke volumes."

Not bad. Barbacoa was good. A little too greasy but good. Service is always fast and a nice experience.

Great for on the run tacos. Been here a few times when I'm in the Southside of town and always fresh. Even the orchata is good. Wepa... me fui..Food: 4/5

Omg the tacos are so so good freshly made. The only complaint is they need to add more food in your tacos. If I am paying almost 4 bucks please add more tripas or Carne guisada. But very good food delicious ??

The tacos here are quite good, but the selection could be improved, especially with the three-taco special. While they do offer more variety than some other places, it still isn't the best. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5. View menu

Typically, Tony's delivers a great experience, but this time it was completely different. My entire order was incorrect. Items that I requested to be removed were included, and some of the food wasn't cooked properly. Food rating: 2/5.

The food is ok not too bad but the ladies there are always gossiping and if you understand Spanish you know they are talking about d things but that doesn’t really matter what matters is that they take 40min to give a order and it wasn’t that much to start off

The food is fresh and delicious, and the service is quick. My only issue was with the payment process; when you pay by card, the machine prompts you for a tip, which I ended up giving. However, I'm unsure why that goes to the cashier. Meanwhile, the cooks have their own tip jar, and I believe they deserve the tips more than the cashier or the owners. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5. View menu

My search for hot off grill corn tortilla started Monday, After disappointing stop at La Culebra meat market and senior moment in transferring bus I noticed Tony's. It was brightly painted, seemed clean, and was pretty busy. That moment continued when I ordered my tacos which were 3 for $3.99. Neglected to ask for corn tortilla. Knew i had time to eat at busstop. Enjoyed meeting some local citizens while I ate. Service was acceptable. Staff not rude or friendly. Excellent good sized flour tortillas. I inquired about a molina. Staff didn't know of any. Food was very good. Generous amount of potato/egg. If I am in that I would surely return.

The small, over looked restaurants are always the best, and this is definitely one of them! Homemade flour tortillas that are bigger than the average place set the standard for a great taco experience! The carne con papas taco is my all time favorite! The beef is as tender as carne guisada done the right way, and the little pieces of potato complement the beef with a nice bite coming from the hot sauce mixed in all together. Everything is cranked out made to order, and the group of ladies run that line like a well oiled machine, ensuring your order comes out quickly. I definitely recommend this place in a Saturday morning after you've had one too many the night before.
